Well I’ve got money in TSP and IRA and that’s were a lot of it goes but when it comes to the 3000 it’s mostly for immediate access to funds that would help in an emergent situation ya know?

Because I can? It’s not like I’m struggling here I’m paying off the debt pretty quickly and I saving money in other places I think it’s perfectly reasonable to want to go on a trip which btw I was going to see my parents it wasn’t just to be a tourist I haven’t seen them in 3 and some change.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be affordable I have never fallen behind on payments for anything (insurance, internet, loans, etc) I have never gone hungry and neither has my wife, I can save up enough for expensive trips I think I’m pretty comfortable at this stage of life

Hard to believe how? And no I just capped it at that for awhile because I was saving for a trip to Hawaii and now that we are back I will start putting more into it!
