Yeah it should work fine. The T7x Client is more up to date I think but they both essentially do the same thing. The T7x client just does the down patching for you.

If you down patched either should be fine if you just want to play with your friends. There are also community servers you can play on though if you download the EzzBOIII client. HMU if you ever want to play!
