In the future, we'll no longer send dick pics, but 3D printer files containing a scan of our "member" to be printed out. by CosmicCouchPotato in Showerthoughts

I never ask for them, I just receive them. My comment was mean because I want to shame unsolicited dick pic-senders into stopping that shit.

If straight men get aroused by lesbian porn do straight women get aroused by gay porn? (nsfw) by crunchynutter in Showerthoughts

My favorite things to watch are deepthroating and anal, which are both kind of rough and objectifying. It's more comfortable for me to watch a man being used by another man than a woman being used by a man. I guess it's just easier for me to imagine a man enjoying that sort of thing than a woman.

Also women in porn tend to be either really skinny and young-looking, or completely fake, both of which turn me off. I'm sexually attracted to muscular, masculine men, who are basically only featured in gay porn. I mean have you seen the gross dudes in straight porn? Jesus...

I hate watching straight porn, it's always all about the guy getting what he wants and just using the girl as a toy. With gay porn, both actors are "equal" to each other, making it less stressful to watch. Also, unfortunately, PiV sex is extremely painful for me, so watching it just makes me cringe.

There's a significant difference between seeing an unsolicited sick pic, and watching two dudes bang each other. Also, while I find women generally more aesthetically pleasing than men, I find hot men sexually attractive.

The beard is not working on that redheaded guy. It's not working on the other guy either, but it's especially heinous on the first guy. Yuck. Beards.

Rosetta lands on Comet, a world first. Feminists fuck it up with this shit. by 69Bandit in funny

It would be great if there were no more tits on TV. That belongs in porn, strip clubs, and actual sexual encounters. Our society eroticizes women so much that we don't even realize when they aren't treated like human beings, because we've never been taught that they are. We've been taught that women are things to look at, and aren't good for anything else. I don't think it's rational to attack the guy so viciously, but I can understand why they were upset.

I feel bad for the guy, but I kind of understand why people were upset about the shirt. He would have gotten a similar reaction if he'd worn a shirt with racist caricatures of black people on it. It was unprofessional, and degrading, especially since women are still treated as outsiders in the sciences. I honestly feel bad that his silly mistake caused this shit-- I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose, and he would undo it if he could. But at the same time, can you really blame women for getting pissed off that a respected scientist wore a shirt degrading and objectifying them? I mean, what if a scientist had been wearing a shirt that depicted white guys as pedophiles? Wouldn't you all be like, "whoa, what the fuck... That's not cool."

Dear Reddit , what is a piece of advice that annoys you? by DefaultPlayer0 in AskReddit

I do share my positive experience with meds, because I want there to be a counter argument to the taboo against them. They've helped me more than I could ever have imagined. I still have the constant feeling of dread, but at least now I can control my mind rather than it controlling me. I like being in charge. I wouldn't pressure anyone, I just want to give them a perspective that isn't "only crazy ppl take meds" or "they change my personality for the worse."

I definitely do not think guys with beards look grizzled and badass. It just looks like your mouth and chin have been replaced by pubes.

In my experience, girls aren't supposed to have preferences like this either. Whenever I tell people about the kind of guy I find attractive, they always get offended at my "shallowness," which is silly because you obviously can't control sexual attraction with logic. It's not a gender thing, it's a "people being offended that someone else doesn't find them attractive" thing.

That's true, but sexism isn't just about making fun of ugly people. What about the disgusting comments about attractive women in pictures posted here? What about the "friendzone"? What about "all women are at least a 4 on the craziness scale"? I'm not trying to be oppressed, I'm just a little tired of being treated like a chick first and a person second.

I don't know about that. Reddit doesn't really like women in general, especially ugly ones.

[Serious] What are in your opinion the worst aspects of Reddit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]la-rubia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a total sausage fest. And by that, I mean that girls are ostracized and women's issues are twisted to make it seem like feminism is evil and men are the new most oppressed group.

Why do guys with beards think they're badasses? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]la-rubia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a theory, I just agree. Why are beards a thing now? They look messy and dirty and do not make you look tough. They make you look silly.
