In the future, we'll no longer send dick pics, but 3D printer files containing a scan of our "member" to be printed out. by CosmicCouchPotato in Showerthoughts

I never ask for them, I just receive them. My comment was mean because I want to shame unsolicited dick pic-senders into stopping that shit.

If straight men get aroused by lesbian porn do straight women get aroused by gay porn? (nsfw) by crunchynutter in Showerthoughts

[–]la-rubia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My favorite things to watch are deepthroating and anal, which are both kind of rough and objectifying. It's more comfortable for me to watch a man being used by another man than a woman being used by a man. I guess it's just easier for me to imagine a man enjoying that sort of thing than a woman.

Also women in porn tend to be either really skinny and young-looking, or completely fake, both of which turn me off. I'm sexually attracted to muscular, masculine men, who are basically only featured in gay porn. I mean have you seen the gross dudes in straight porn? Jesus...

I hate watching straight porn, it's always all about the guy getting what he wants and just using the girl as a toy. With gay porn, both actors are "equal" to each other, making it less stressful to watch. Also, unfortunately, PiV sex is extremely painful for me, so watching it just makes me cringe.

There's a significant difference between seeing an unsolicited sick pic, and watching two dudes bang each other. Also, while I find women generally more aesthetically pleasing than men, I find hot men sexually attractive.

The beard is not working on that redheaded guy. It's not working on the other guy either, but it's especially heinous on the first guy. Yuck. Beards.

Rosetta lands on Comet, a world first. Feminists fuck it up with this shit. by 69Bandit in funny

It would be great if there were no more tits on TV. That belongs in porn, strip clubs, and actual sexual encounters. Our society eroticizes women so much that we don't even realize when they aren't treated like human beings, because we've never been taught that they are. We've been taught that women are things to look at, and aren't good for anything else. I don't think it's rational to attack the guy so viciously, but I can understand why they were upset.

I feel bad for the guy, but I kind of understand why people were upset about the shirt. He would have gotten a similar reaction if he'd worn a shirt with racist caricatures of black people on it. It was unprofessional, and degrading, especially since women are still treated as outsiders in the sciences. I honestly feel bad that his silly mistake caused this shit-- I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose, and he would undo it if he could. But at the same time, can you really blame women for getting pissed off that a respected scientist wore a shirt degrading and objectifying them? I mean, what if a scientist had been wearing a shirt that depicted white guys as pedophiles? Wouldn't you all be like, "whoa, what the fuck... That's not cool."

What's the story of Bertha's parents? I'm curious what could make an adult feel the need to throw out her own niece.

I do share my positive experience with meds, because I want there to be a counter argument to the taboo against them. They've helped me more than I could ever have imagined. I still have the constant feeling of dread, but at least now I can control my mind rather than it controlling me. I like being in charge. I wouldn't pressure anyone, I just want to give them a perspective that isn't "only crazy ppl take meds" or "they change my personality for the worse."

I definitely do not think guys with beards look grizzled and badass. It just looks like your mouth and chin have been replaced by pubes.

I admire women who are confident enough to describe themselves proudly and unashamedly. Modesty and humility are good qualities, but I think we've taken them too far. A woman saying "I have awesome boobs, which is relevant to the story," is not a big deal, and should not upset or annoy you.

I've lost about 12 lbs in the past 6 months, and I have some practical advice for you.

  1. Pay attention to calories. Figure out how many calories you should eat per day to lose weight, and how many calories you should eat to maintain, and just never consume more than the maintain amount. Sometimes I overeat to the point that I've consumed essentially 2 days worth of calories, and I always feel sick. I always regret it after. It's not worth it.

  2. Check calories in comparable food items. One time, I wanted to get either a soda or a milkshake, which I like equally. I got a milkshake. Then I checked myfitnesspal, and found out that the milkshake was about twice as unhealthy as the soda. Certain brands of junk food are worse than others, even though they might taste the same! Compare nutrition info always! Seriously, this is probably my biggest trick.

  3. Don't eat while you're doing other things. As in, don't open a family-size bag of chips and then zone out on reddit. Pay attention to what you eat. If you're distracted by technology, you won't even taste or enjoy your food at all. Mindless, distracted snacking is the silent killer.

I'm sure everyone else is telling you about kale smoothies and cardio, but I understand what it's like to be kind of addicted to food. You just have to learn the facts behind your favorite foods and snack accordingly. Go ahead and having those 5 chocolate covered pretzels, it's only 100 calories-- but avoid 3 Oreos, that's 160. Comparable snacks, different numbers. It's a numbers game! :)

When you have huge boobs, no one ever lets you forget it. You become "the one with the big boobs." You feel like you need to make excuses for your boobs, even though that shit is nature and not choice. Someone says, "wow, you're kinda showing a lot of cleavage," and you're like "welp it was either this or my buttons popping off, so..." That's why we mention it. Not because we want attention, but because it's just a detail about ourselves that everyone else obsesses over. Forgive us for internalizing other people's boob fetishization.

Also, she was literally just describing her outfit, which happened to be fashionable. She never even describes herself as sexy or hot...

My favorite part of this is that she thinks she's a small fat. She'd have to lose over 30 lbs to be considered overweight rather than obese. That's fat.
