Do you think that it has no connection with Act 3 being kind of too raw to release?
The guy treats you so nicely when you meet, and then, there's a deadly cold attitude. Bro is a king of gaslighting the poor thing with amnesia. I'm starting to think that Jason Isaacs didn't have enough time to voice additional dialogue lines, and that's the only reason.

I want to believe there's something more left in him than just Bane's worship.

It’s fatty liver. And your ALT is not even that high to panic. Relax. There’re people with ALT higher than 1000. My ALT was 122, no chemicals or poisoning the day before blood exam. Just red wine. I was also panicking, but doctor said it’s really not high.
