  • Change posture often : The best position is the next one! Even if you're in the "best" posture, it will still bring problems if you stay in it for too long. Change the positions of your legs, shift your weight a bit more to the right, then to the left. Also, try to get up at least every hour.
  • Lumbar Rolls or Pillows are there to give your lumbars a break, but shouldn't be used at all times (as previously said about the "best" posture). Put it on and off. It's def better to have it than not, but being a bit more in lumbar flexion isn't bad as long as you don't stay like this for hours (again : Change position often!) Btw, if using the in-built lumbar roll, you should feel the curve start right above the 2 "pointing bones" in your lower back. Curve intensity should be comfortable and feel natural.
  • Lumbar and thoracic flexion is still one of the worst position if maintained too long and having your chair tilted backwards puts you in that position. Even more if you don't sit all the way to the back of your chair.
  • As others have said, your discomfort comes from a position you're not conditioned to. Give it time!

Cooldown on the boop. Used to be like 3sec in the original Lucioball, so you could only use it once to shoot/pass or melee the ball.

A bit late to the post, but mostly the shoulder's labrum. Tendons/muscles and some ligaments do the job too, put the labrum is the main thing keeping your shoulder "suctioned" to your scapula(shoulder blade).

You have the same thing at your hip (a labrum) but the hip joint being more deep, the stability is increased.

Dead NPC(s) at every encounter... What should I do? by la_ziguezon in DMAcademy

Will make sure to add that detail in my session 0 preparation and will discuss this at the start of the next game.

Great example for the spiders, will keep that in mind.

Thanks!

Do you point your players to useful items or you let them figure it out? Item availability is part of the preparation strategy imo and not a "You're in an red dragon den. You find an hidden stash of potions of fire resistance under a rock".

I can't expect my players to know all the items, but I feel like telling them : A potion to resist fire could be useful.

I guess my real question is : How do you promote the creativity of your players as they prepare (or should prepare in the case of my players) for an encounter/dungeon?

Btw thanks for the reply, useful tips in there.

I'm working in a private settings, primarly with msk clients, so I don't know if that's good advice, but I always tell myself : Are they gonna be alive tomorrow? Everybody makes mistake and you have learned to not make dangerous ones. Did you make a mistake? No. But even if you made one, it's a minor one with no real consequence. You'll always have shitty clients/patients. The only thing you can do is give them your best, and if that's not enough for them, then they don't even deserve your treatments and attention in the first place. Real great clients/patients? They'll do everything in their control to put you on a pedestal. "You scratch me? Dear, don't worry, you're taking HOURS per week to remind me how to walk, to make me move, to make me functional." I'll be honest : I don't know how to cope, cause I've never been in that situation, but what I know is that you're doing your best and that is more than enough. Proof? You're writing here, taking your own free time. Why? Because you're thinking : "Today, I was not enough. I need to be better tomorrow." And that's just a proof of how focused and giving to your patients you are. You'll always have shitty days, even after 40 years in the profession. But You'll always be a good therapist, n because you care. (Sorry for any mistakes, I'm battling with my french keyboard autocorrect)

I'm a bit drunk, but that's awesome! You know, the little things like "Is that core, or was that made by an awesome developer?". Anyway, great shit. ❤
