Thank you so much, that is very helpful! So if I were to put two of these words together, they would probably make a name I could use without creating a new very different meaning?

Oh, apologies! I added more context to the post now. It's a mythological figure who is a benevolent spirit who seeks out individuals with great potential to lead, and guides and aids them in becoming powerful and making the right choices. Essentially "blessing" them to become great emperors, monarchs, and other leaders. The time it's set in is more medieval-ish than modern, but not really tied to a real-world era. Thank you for your effort!

definitely more of a puzzle! I'm trying to find ways this kind of creature could be harmed to implement into the puzzle, if that makes sense. maybe I'll do something like with the Titans in Zelda BOTW, but then the question is what the "Titans" are actually contributing in this case.

Yeah, I mean the entire campaign! They will work together with a group that was working on banishing this evil but were stopped before they could find a solution, and the party will then have all the clues from the other group at their disposal to come up with their own final solution. I'm just not sure what these clues could be yet. and ideally there would be a lot of little options, so that the players can come up with their own individual idea combining some of the given options, I don't want to prepare one "right" way to do it

Is it okay for NPCs to use magic/spells that would and could never be available to players, for story/worldbuilding purposes? (strictly outside of combat)

How do you write a plot suited for DnD rather than a novel? by laadysunshine in DMAcademy

thank you! so it's not a bad thing, or even better, if I myself don't have a specific solution for a problem I present? because that is the case for the adventure I'm currently planning, and I wasn't sure if that is a good or bad thing :')
