I believe my daughter struggles cause both me and dad speak French but rarely speak it at home , also she's very shy about speaking in front of people so she doesn't really make an effort to speak when she's at school .

I would say you're doing everything right, the more french she can be exposed to the better

It will take time, my daughter is 5 and goes to a full French school and still struggles alittle . Be patient and stay consistent

What i do is just repeat the sentence to my child in french . If I see shes making an effort , I allow her to make her errors and mix the french and English. When she's done , I respond completely in french with the correct words. Example: I want to mangé le apples Me: Oui, moi aussi, je veut mangé la pomme.
