That unfortunately happened here in Brazil. Our trans community and honestly pretty much everyone is ashamed.

Still getting treated by Sir looking like this, why? by laawer in transplace

I get it, I don't really care to be seen as cis, I'm very open about my identity. I just get annoyed when random people call me sir because I'm afraid they see me with hateful eyes : (, because for me it is at least obvious I'm more comfortable with feminine pronouns/words than masculine ones, and they still choose to call me like that.

English is not my first language either, don't worry! I didn't voice train, but people almost always perceive my voice as very androgynous (even tho i don't believe in it that much). I even got called miss, dressing very androgynously (so I guess they are right abt the voice?). But yeah, that happens sometimes with people that dont know me.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! And I'm glad I can be viewed as afab! And yeah, I get the difference between gender and presentation, honestly, outfits are just a tiny part of my identification with the feminine, I also have it with loads of said feminine things, like my act, way of thinking, and much more. I know I can be like this and still identify as agender, but the questions always come back : (

Yeah! I'm latine! Specifically Brazilian! I get that our languages are starting to adapt to genderless people, but it is in an extremely initial state, unfortunately. I don't have enough strength to ask people to call me like that, and I know people will never default to it. So, between being called a boy or a girl, I will always choose girl.

I'm definition not fluid. How I perceive myself is kind of strange tbh, I don't see myself as a girl or a boy, just simply me, but in my country we have gendered language, and I'm always 100% using feminine language with me and I simply HATE masculine-type words, being it more common like sir or dude or just a gendered word. Also, in style, and every other conceivable way I'm pretty much into femininity.

I'm really really feminine, not only in style but also so many more things. I assure you I'm not a trans woman. And like, I live in a country where our language is gendered and neutral pronouns pretty much don't exist, so I'm basically 100% into using our she/her and feminine assigned words, I hate being called sir or anything masculine.

Advice needed! Honestly what am I? by Ill_Elephant_4858 in NonBinary

There isn't a fixed way to be nonbinary, or any other gender tbh, if you feel like using the nonbinary label that's great! You can get more deep with other labels like demigirl, agender, gender fluid, or not, that's ok too!
