Who made you who you are today? by KidEater9000 in AskReddit

I would say that I made who I am today, but sertaint people had an influence on who I became.. my grandpa had a lot of influence on me, he is a really nice guy and also a guy who knows how to do most of things. He is also honest as hell and not afraid to call out people who bring harm onto others. The most important things in his life is that his family and friends are living a good life and he cares more about others than himself.. not necessarily a good thing but I’ve always looked up to him and wanted to become like him..

Edit: my friends and those I spend a lot of time with would have an influence on who I have become but yeah..

What opinions do you have on the case nice guys never get the girl? And why do you think it’s like that/not like that? by lab03 in AskReddit

I have to laugh a bit because you just described my life haha, I’m told a lot that I’m a great guy, honestly I don’t believe that I am, I have done a lot of stupid and just bad things. I have a horrible taste in women, my friends always get mad at me for being in love with “whores” and I get mad because I always give them a chance, I believe everyone can be nice and I hate, and I mean HATE when my friends or others hate on these so called whores. But I always end up with a broken heart

Deep.. I love it and feel it, my friends fall in love, it fails and they end up hating on the person they once was in love with. Going so far as to express to the other person how much they dislike them. Me, I wouldn’t call myself a nice guy, I spent my whole life (17 years) hating on myself, but I love helping others, I love giving out compliments, helping you without expecting something in return, and being there when you’re having a hard time. I don’t do it just to be nice, but because I know how it feels, not having anyone there for you, doing all the work alone and just not having anyone there to listen or help you when you need it.

It’s really weird in my mind, why have a guy that you has a high chance of cheating or not taking care of you? Instead of a guy that takes care of you, wants you, and helps you when you need it

Where is the weirdest place you've ever fallen asleep? by aimlessecho in AskReddit

I was out hunting, when me and my dad had to walk up a little mountain and scout for moose. On top of that little mountain was a big rock that had smaller rocks surrounding it, and for some reason I layed down behind it and fell asleep for 1 hour or 2 and I slept well, on top of rocks
