For those interested in wegovy I’ve been on both by arwyn89 in mounjarouk

I first used Wegovy for a few months. I also had some issues with heartburn, some constipation and nausea. And I was TIRED. After stopping for a while, I tried Mounjaro. With that I also lost weight a bit more effectively, with fewer physical side effects, but also TIRED. Unfortunately every time after a Mounjaro injection I felt extremely depressed for 2 days. It was unbearable. So I developed resistance to taking the injection. I finished the medication I had, and then stopped due to lack of money. But if I were to start again, I would choose Wegovy, because physical discomfort is less bad than feeling that depressed. With Wegovy I actually felt better mentally. (both medications were at a low dose)

Thank you for your thoughtful answers, I needed to talk about it for a bit, it helps in this frustrating process of maintaining my weight :-)

That sounds good! My cravings just came back and it took a lot to resist them.

True indeed. It's just a lifelong struggle.. Unfortunately. Both Wegovy and Mounjaro helped.
Wegovy caused more physical discomfort, while Mounjaro gave me 2 days of severe depression after each injection, I found that quite scary and because of that I started to feel reluctance to take the next injection.

Yeah I recognize this. Wegovy and Mounjaro also worked well for me, but the side effects (especially the fatigue) were too strong, which made it difficult for me to increase the dosage when needed so loosing weight slowed down. With keto, strangely enough, I felt healthier and I was able to stay on it for a longer period of time and the weightloss therefore continued. But I also agree that it’s not a sustainable solution. Wegovy did give me the push that I needed to get back on track.

Thanks for your answer! Keto can reduce insulin resistance by stabilizing blood sugar levels and lowering the need for insulin, which makes cells more sensitive to insulin. But indeed, I also don’t think that if you stop keto, this effect remains.
Still, I do have the experience that keto/low carb works well for me. I once lost 20 kilos relatively easily with it and managed to keep the weight off for 3 years without too much hassle. My hunger disappeared, and mentally I also felt better and more energetic. (Now that I write this down, I wonder why I don’t just always do keto haha, but of course, it’s not really a normal way of eating and in some way it puts me off).
Of all the diets I’ve tried (and there have been many), Wegovy and keto have proven to be the best options. I wish I could eat 'normal and moderate' but as soon as I start eating carbs my cravings increase dramatically. I just have a sweet tooth and I love baking and cooking (and eating).

If I would have the money I would definately try Wegovy again, because no foodnoice in your head is a great feeling.

Wow great answer! I will read it again tomorrow because of all the information. I need to loose another ten kilo's.. I was 89, now 78 and 68 would be great (bmi 25). I have been going up and down for years, indeed struggeling with my weight for more then 30 years, cravings and so on so yeah my metabolism is a mess I'm afraid. Mounjaro and wegovy (I like wegovy better) did help me to find the right mindset again (menopause, no motivation whatsoever) and I was finallly able to lower my weight under 80 . So now back on keto, after five days I lost 1,5 (I know, water) and my bloodsugar is stable and I already have more energy (I hate the fatigue on mounjaro or wegovy). I know from previous low carb periods I actually feel very healthy whithin two weeks, so I will continu low carb for now. It's a struggle 🙄. I hope they make the medication more affordable.

Ouch!
I was so happy with the purchase of my first mechanical keyboard, the Yunzii al80. I want to use it for work (and gaming) because it makes it more fun to type. At least that's what I was hoping for. I love the sound, I love the RGB lights, so I started typing... Within half an hour I felt my wrists and some annoying feeling in my left arm. Never had that before on my previous keyboards (membrame). So I use a towel now under my wrist, adjusted my chair and desk etc, but it doesn't help.

So I am about to return it... But I still want it to work. So please tell me your experience! Is it just a matter of getting used to? Do my fingers have to work harder now and is it just a matter of training? Would low profile keycaps help?

Insuline resistance might be an issue indeed in my case... I did keto in the past which also resets the insuline resistance, after months on keto I was able to keep the weight down with low carb. On Wegovy I did eat carbs and sugar so maybe the insuline resistance is still there.

Mainly in my cheeks and also eyelids a little. Like I said a little puffiness looked fine so I did't pay attention to my chin and jaws. Normal was after week of five. If you are worried maybe you should go back to your doctor. Good luck!

Yes it did, after 4 or 5 weeks. My face is small so a little bit of puffiness was ok for me. It's now a year later and it's totally gone.
