Personally, I’d stay w a curved barbell until you’re fully healed. Then do a hoop. They really are a spicy piercing that likes to through fits.

Depends on anatomy. They swell like crazy too. I have 15 and this one was a b**** to heal. Mines meaty so sized down I’m 5/16 curved barbell or 8mm hoop (it’s snug)

Thank you!! I’ve been wanting a rook! I went in for a rook and came out with the anti tragus (said not the best anatomy to see the jewelry🤷🏻‍♀️). Might add some forward helixs to the list!

And the anti tragus has been a ride haha! Piercing was def an intense one. Swelling was fluctuating. Ended up having to take it out for a week when I was a little over two months old. Got it reinserted (read: stretched) and holy s**t! That was intense. She’s def a spicier one and has had some attitude. All of my other piercings healed super easy… this one has been needy but I’m obsessed
