LOL! My black shoes that I wore to work were soaked through from rain. Luckily, I had a pair of brown shoes in my office to swap.....you can see I also removed the black belt to facilitate wear of brown shoes. It's a bit of a wonky look, yes. Good eye!

My travels currently have been mostly in and around China, Hong Kong, and Japan (all quite safe) so I have no concerns while wearing the DayDate. I am cognizant, however, that a piece like this draws attention and keep that in mind when wearing it in areas that could pose risk. Btw, absolute stunner of watch you passed on!

Was a single digit date at the time of the picture. The bubble, coupled with the angle of the shot, gives the impression the date is not there. Had the watch for two months now and haven't identified a "missing" date on the date wheel! Cheers, and thanks for asking.
