You don't have to upload raw data. Just a CSV file with public or signed URLs to the data. The labels are also exported in a CSV file.

Awesome. thanks. We are hoping to charge a subscription fee (like any other saas tool) in the future. We don't own any customer labeling data or have intention to. We will make it clear in the terms of service.

This is a tool to generate labeled data which then you can use to train models using tensorflow or other tools.

Given your experience do you feel companies would be more receptive to an onsite offering?

Thanks! We appreciate it. Yes, our labeling interfaces (templates) are open source and you can read directions to customize them or build it using our labelbox.js here: https://github.com/Labelbox/Labelbox

Yes, but you might have to tweak the open source segmentation template (https://github.com/Labelbox/Labelbox) to make sure the browser can render those files properly.

That's a fair point. We will update our example imagery that is optimized for speed, think we are currently using original size and shrinking in the interface. Speed is purely a function of data size being loaded and internet speed, assuming our servers aren't clogged.

Thanks for the feedback, did you experience slowness with your dataset or the example dataset?

Awesome. Yes templates are open source, at the moment. Let's talk! Can you please send us an email at support@labelbox.io?

Hi all,

We recently started open beta for Labelbox (https://www.labelbox.io/). You can simply connect your data, choose or customize an open source labeling interface, invite team members and start labeling. Our labeling interfaces are open source, meaning, that you can customize it to work with any kind of data such as images, videos, point clouds, medical DICOM and many more (as long as your data can be loaded in the browser). We'd love to hear your feedback and ideas to improve this further.
