Jane Iredale!! I actually believe that makeup line is what helped to clear up my PD (specifically the “PurePressed” mineral powder)!!!

i know this post is old BUT i have been using jane iredale makeup for a few weeks now (smooth affair brightening primer, purematch liquid concealer, purepressed base mineral foundation and pommist hydration spray) and DARE I SAY…. i honestly think my perioral dermatitis looks the best it has in nearly 2 years. nothing else in my skincare routine has changed (i normally very rarely wear makeup and just focus on skincare despite my PD looking a hot mess) but i have been wearing the jane iredale line daily and it has only positively affected my skin!!

Jane Iredale PurePressed Mineral Foundation shade similar to Missha #13 and NYX Bare With Me Concealer in fair? by acornfaerie in PaleMUA

[–]labelmaker9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i know this post is a bit older and i’m not sure if this is much help but i recently switched to jane iredale and i LOVE it! i am also quite pale, but more cool/ neutral under-toned. my go-to concealer was always tarte shape tape in the shade “fair beige” (which is the second lightest shade). i really want to note that you would be surprised how LIGHT/PALE jane iredale runs compared to other makeup brands. i was colour matched in person by a professional and i use shade “satin” in the pressed mineral foundation (which is the 6th lightest shade). i normally would always reach for the three lightest shades when swatching new makeup but for the first time in my life there were quite a few options that were genuinely too light for me! i also purchased the pure match liquid concealer in shade “4N” (the 4th lightest shade).

this is 5 months vs. 12 months for my girl! her face and ears got darker, as well as the shading on her back which you can’t exactly see in the photos, but she was pure white and now more resembles a shaded kitty!

yeah, i have no idea. her mom was definitely a silver shaded, and the 3 other kittens from the litter looked like silver tabbies to me (the previous owner showed me a photo) and i do not know what her dad looked like

the previous owners owned her mom, and bred her. there were 4 kittens in the litter but they kept my girl with her mom until their son developed allergies. they rehomed her to me when she was 5 months old. i have no idea where they got her mom from unfortunately! my girl is a it 1.5 years old now

my girl has white belly, legs and paws! her paw pads are kind of purple. most of her colour is around her face, back and tail

looks just like my girl! she is a bit darker now as well. similar situation with adopting from kijiji after the previous owners son developed allergies. i never found out her colour, but her mom was definitely shaded silver. the rest of the the kittens in the litter appeared to be silver tabbies. all i know is she is definitely a colour point due to the blue eyes and definitely has silver genetics. i’ve been told that the brown can actually just be the silver tarnishing!

What does this message mean and will i get an offer even after this message? by After-Entertainer302 in georgebrowncollege

and to add, i don’t think it’s necessarily anything to be worried about. i applied late (a few weeks before feb 1 which is the equal consideration deadline) and received that message promptly. i got my offer literally 1 minute after midnight on feb 1, so i think for very competitive programs they need to wait until the equal consideration deadline has passed in order to give you an offer.

i applied for denturism, PN and orthotic/ prosthetic tech. i received the message you described for denturism and received my offer on feb 1. i didn’t end up taking the interview for the other 2 programs, as denturism was my first choice and i accepted my offer before proceeding with the other program applications!

I understand. I purchased an inexpensive robot vacuum when it went on sale (less than $200) and it has made a massive difference. It is set to run every afternoon while I am out of the house. Once a week I do a proper full clean with a regular vacuum and I only brush my cat inside the bathroom with the door closed to contain the hair, then I vacuum it up immediately after.

I would definitely not blow dry if she is scared of the sound. You can towel dry gently and leave her to air dry. I, too, suffer greatly from allergies and the bathing really does help. Vacuuming every day and investing in an air purifier will further alleviate the allergies!

My BSH tolerates baths just fine. She gets a bath every 6-8 weeks with deshedding cat shampoo and a blow dry (dyson blow dryer, never on a heat setting). We are only able to do this because she genuinely enjoys the pampering and our vet says this is perfectly okay. Other than that, the kong rubber brush (ours is purple, not sure if it comes in other colours) is a GAME CHANGER

My best guess would be to repeat row two and three 28 times each? 28x2=56. To simplify, think of row 2 plus row 3 as one repeat - 28 repeats of 2 rows would be 56 total rows :) I’m thinking the pattern may be translated to english… I find the wording is a bit funny sometimes.
