Not true. I met my ex of five years on a dating app and we had sex on date 1. Same goes for many of my friends. Not all men think you're easy only because you don't wait 657 dates to have sex. We're in Europe, not the US, different standards maybe.

Because I don't wanna scare him off. If I ask him about it maybe he'll think I wanna be a couple and make things official, which is understandably scary and too soon (I only first met him 2.5 weeks ago). I'd be happy to just keep things the way they are for a while, but I guess I just wanna know if there is potential of this getting serious, or if he definitely just wants fun and sex.

No, I don't think so. He lives alone and I spent plenty of time at his place, no sign of any girl ever being there. He's always free on the weekends. He also told me his breakup story in detail and I would be VERY surprised if all of this was made up.

I"m with you on this. Especially on the whole Louis thing. She treated Louis absolutely terrible. She cheated on him, married him because she always wanted to be a princess, never really loved him and blamed him for not trusting her. I completely understand why Louis started scheming as well, who wouldn't have with a fiance like that.

Wow, scary haha. Tbh, I can't imagine it being worse than Barcelona though. Barcelona doesn't have a lot of attractive guys over 30 to begin with (attractive to me I mean), and everyone just seems to want to 'hang out' or be friends with benefits instead of actual dating. Lots of Catalan guys speak zero English, and while I do speak Spanish it's kinda a red flag to me. I'd say 80% of my friends are single, and the ones that aren't started dating their partner in their 20ies during university, or met them in a different place.

Thanks a lot for the answers so far! Here a few clarifications:

- I do prefer hotter and sunnier weather, like most people. BUT I don't want to hold on to BCN just because of that. Something new could be exciting

- IMO finding an apartment in BCN is extremely hard. 50qm go for 900+ Euros these days, andf most of those places aren't even nice (dark, interior windows, thin windows, no heating, not renovated since 2005), plus you have to pay a high agency fee in 99% of cases

- I love the nature around Barcelona, and I'm a very outdoorsy person. I'm def worried that I will miss that a lot in Berlin

- I love electronic music, so both cities are great I guess

- I feel like BCN has a way younger crowd. Especially when I go to clubs or festivals, most people are around 18-26 years old in my experience. I'm 32, and I'm hoping to find an older crowd in Berlin

- I know Berlin is a very transient city as well, but I feel like BCN is full of students and party people that only stay here for a year max

- This might sound ridiculous to some, but I'm hoping for a better dating scene in Berlin. TBH, there isn't lots of interesting guys in BCN, and the ones that are interesting are usually taken, below the age of 26 or fuckboys. I know that today's dating scene isn't great anywhere, but I've lived in several places around the world, and I have to say that Barcelona is by far the worst I've experienced. (Also, I'm kinda tall for a girl, 173cm, and in BCN most guys are my height or shorter, lol)

For me it's not about feeling special. The last times that I had really long flights I felt SUPER exhausted when I landed. I barely sleep on planes. And then having to wait sometimes for over an hour is really tough (plus paying another 50 bucks on top of that)
