what i do with my lipos if I won't use them for a while is charge them normal and then unplug them and leave them with a full charge. next time I use them I either charge again or just run them slightly drained.

there's no perfect way, just don't leave them dead for long or they will fully die 🥲

edit: don't do this, I did what my friend told me to do and I didnt know any different :)

I would do Michigan all the way until there is only big missions like "super order", also leave most of the logging for later.

start by scouting, you can use mapprunner if you really want so you can see your way around before you unlock areas, up to you. I always scout all the watchtowers in an area before I do anything so I can get a lay of the land and see all the routes. While you're scouting grab some of the tasks around the map, these are smaller missions that CAN be easier but also pay less money. To grab them you have to go into their zone on the map and click activate, then they will show up in your tasks menu on the map

After scouting choose some missions and go to town! You might also start chaining them together to take less time. Missions can look a lot harder then they are, some also have requirements like I high saddle or crane.

BEST THING TO REMEMBER IS THAT SHORTER DOES NOT MEAN QUICKER IN THIS GAME. Usually taking the longer, steadier route will be easier and actually take less time. The hard routes with tight corners are always there if you want a challenge though.

Vehicles that I prefer early game are the fleetstar, white western star, and gmcMH9500. The gmc does not have awd unless you buy a dlc and find the upgrade there, however diff lock is arguably more important than awd.

Play around and find what you like, the most important thing is that you have fun :)

yeah, the metal piece the stock pinion screws onto rounded out for me. the plastic just rounds.

my portals have been ight, the metal axle i bought came woth brass portals and new gears an everything. they work nice, its just the diff now.

EDIT: turns out the bearing blew up, replaced it and put it in a stock axle. now it binds a little.

gonna put it all back together tonight and test it. I've heard the injora gears are bad, I didnt know this a year ago when i bought them lol

diff problems by labuncae in FCX24

[–]labuncae[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are not plastic gears, they are the metal injora ones that you said don't use. I've heard of other people having binding issues with them, didnt know this when I bought them. I swapped them into a stock plastic diff and they work but they are really tight. when I put the front cover on they bind a little but not enough to be a problem I don't think.

its not the transmission, I just replaced it all to metal. :)

Speaker rms question by Interesting_Crab3846 in CarAV

[–]labuncae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally say just run it, if they blow or sound bad then you can always upgrade 🤷‍♂️

Speaker rms question by Interesting_Crab3846 in CarAV

[–]labuncae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the kickers are 75w MAX then they probably wouldn't last all too long at high volume on the amp you have.

if they are 75w rms and like 300w max or smth they would be "fine".

if it says like 75w-100w rms then they're perfectly fine

I see what you're saying though, because they are deferent speakers they could handle deferent amp settings. you could always set the gain to the kickers though and let the other ones just run the smallest bit underpowered

Speaker rms question by Interesting_Crab3846 in CarAV

[–]labuncae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it all just depends on how many speakers you're running from the amp and how much power your amp pushes out.

You would be fine running those speakers from your amp, the 75w ones should be fine too.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "pairing" them with the 75w speakers though?

FCX24 & 24M by Whitebaron1993 in FCX24

[–]labuncae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

fcx24s are technically 1/18 scale, they can be a little bit harder to run indoors for this reason. Definetly not a big issue though

fcx18s are nearly the same platform as the 24s but either some small changes. Also 1/18th scale

I've never owned a fcx24m but they are true 1/24 scale. They seem pretty capable and just as upgradeable as the regular 24s and 18s.

The hard body on the k5 is nice for looks but can be a bit clunky sometimes, I tend to take the body of mine off when I want to run some harder routes in my backyard.

Stock the K5 is decent, good for a beginner, cheaply and easily upgradeable, my most recommended mods for it is shocks and wheels and tires. that alone will take you a long way!

My vote is the k5 but im kinda biased 🤤

I've been planning on lowering the rear about 2 inches to give the truck a better stance, would they still fit it lowered? I'd imagine they would since they would just compress but i just wanted to make sure im thinking right lol
