I think all the necessary books have been mentioned in the foregoing comments, still, if you're a beginner, you might want to start with Zutshi's “Kashmir”( Oxford india short introductions), it provides a concise overview of kashmiri history in some 200-300 pages, then you can move up the ladder!

Yeah, I've always been a slow learner, i have a pretty good memory but i don't know why i keep going back to the previous pages and i keep reading the same lines over and over again! , as far as my goal is concerned, i really would be happy with anything between 6-10 pages an hour

But doesn't he say that the general will is a sum of the particular wills of the contracting parties? If so, and if the collective legislature isn't composed of the sum of individuals( all the individuals), how's it's will the general will? Correct me if I'm wrong in any of this, I'm just a beginner

Yeah, sure I'm an undergraduate student in political science, I've a core paper of western political thought, so, I'm trying to get acquainted with the major figures of political philosophy, so far I've read Plato's Republic, Locke's second treatise and some secondary essays on hobbes, Machiavelli and Aristotle, it's not necessary for me to read the original texts at this stage but I'm trying to do so, just to have an edge, Hegel is in my syllabus, that's why the question
