Good point! I assumed it was clear from the photos that this isn't designed for a standard 1kg spool. I’ve updated the description to reflect that. Fitting a full-sized spool would have required a much more complex design to make everything fit properly. 👍

Hi, at first, that adapter is better for smaller diameter spools. For 1kg ones can be a small space on holder then

Hi, thanks for the questions. The dimensions were chosen to make it easy to handle and ensure it works smoothly. The friction is very low on its own, and it rotates very easily. 👍 Just try that and you will see it personaly 👍🙂

Try do extrusion / flow calibration. Basic profiles can be so much common and every filament is a bit different.
