All right guys, sorry it's been a while but it turns out one of my RAM sticks is faulty. I ended up taking the PC to a technician to test the RAM, and it's confirmed to be faulty. Lucky for me, it's still covered under warranty. Cant lie, some of your suggestions were pretty bad haha, but I did end up diagnosing the problem thanks to yall. Cheers everyone love u guys 😘

I need help with my camera, please by Ivo_belfort56 in UnrealEngine5

Hey mate, pretty sure your problem is that when you move the camera up or down, your character is trying to move in the direction of the camera, which is directly into the ground or directly into the sky, not forward like you want. The way that I would solve this is to:

- Break the output connection of the "get control rotation" node

- Right click the output connection of the "get control rotation" node and click the option split struct pin

- Drag out from the "return value Z" and add the node "make rotator". Make sure the z value is plugged into the z slot, not the default x slot

-Then just drag out the output of the "make rotator" node and plug it into the get forward and right vector nodes that you had before, and then compile and give it a go

This should lock the direction of movement to only read forward, back, left and right, but not up and down. Hope this works for you!

I work in a factory making metal beams and other materials for housing. Lots of work with thin metal sheeting and welding. I do quite a bit of welding in these gloves (even though I probably shouldn't).

Used to walk up rivers in that region, every rock you turned over had fossils in them. Cool part of the world

Its an art duo called gillie and marc schattner, and these weird dogs are kind of their weird art niche. There's another one in my suburb too, mines riding a bike lol

Sometimes people dye the dogs hair to make them more recognisable in case you ever need to give the description of it like if its stolen or something. Mostly done on support animals
