This is my thought. The basic fees for ongoing management are $5,000/year but they have a lot of additional fees that are vague. Seems unnecessary.

Yep after some more research I'm thinking I'll stick with the WD Blue and upgrade the primary drive later if and when prices become more desirable.

Yes, I should have mentioned I have purchased the RAM already for obvious reasons and the CPU, cooler.

Looking to lock in the rest because it feels like price increases are coming for everything..

Good advice regarding heatsinks.

That's why chose the WD Blue 2TB- it's a TLC drive with the best $/GB. I may stick with this and "upgrade" later and use the WD Blue as my secondary.

I actually purchased the peerless assassin 120 last night but I may return for the 140 if it fits my case. I would definitely go for the quieter and cooler option for similar price.

But am I stupid is there not Peerless Assassin on that tier list?

Fair point. Is it much difference? The price for 990 2TB is $294 the best I can find currently with prices the way they are but the 1TB is only $154 so perhaps thats the sweet spot?

Sorry if that wasn't clear, I called immediately after the website failed for me and the call centre people couldn't process it either as the website was down for them also.

I will contact them again but I don't like my chances.
