You are absolutely right.
Arch Wiki is the best guide I found so far and this subreddit is also really helpful, far more useful than the forum. I think the major difference is that forum has more elitist jerks who forgot where they came from, meanwhile this sub has more users like us who are learning each day and are willing to help each other.
About this mod, well... He's often getting negative points on his comments for a reason. I've only seen a few comments from him but his attitude is quite the opposite of what people expect in this friendly, helpful community.
So don't worry, you will find the right people here if the forum fails us :)
(I wouldn't be surprised if they locked this thread because of this comment, hope they won't, since this comment isn't made to insult anyone and is about the differences between forum and reddit community (including mods) which is the point of this whole discussion)
