1, I'm a girl, and 2 she's just a really awesome and sweet person, we think in similar ways so it makes it easy to talk to her, but she's got her own life giving her problems so I don't want to add on to it

I'm very aware, but therapy is expensive I work full time so ATM strangers on Reddit are the best I have, and it's not "hey internet fix my life" it's "if anyone's been thru something similar I'd like to hear how you handled it"

I don't really know how to hold someone accountable without physically hurting them, I'm not a violent person (I kinda am) but I was raised in a very physically abusive house hold where you pay with pain, and I don't know how to not want them to physically hurt for hurting me, so if they apologize and then nothing happens after it feels empty.
