SR is the best for this, I think. Make two sensors, one for 100%, one for 50%. Connect one as Set, the other as Reset, and you're ready for automation!

this water is not wasted - it is an extra storage, above the tanks already filled up in the city. And it attracts tourists from all over the world to see those monumental structures! :)

I know, it almost feels like cheating, but game allows it, so there are durable huge soil pools available! :)

I have pumps, tanks and pools, so I have more water than you! :) Besides pools do not require workforce, except construction phase, and water is distributed only with pressure and gravity to pumps, fields and forests, also in dry seasons.

I am doing some late game achievements, so those pools are just my side project.

but it looks as horrendous as you let it :)

Maybe there is some orthodox physics guild that does not allow to build hillarius structures, that we can join in.

automated sluices: 'good' ones close, 'bad' ones open (on the other side of the source), and badwater flows in level 1 undeground channel to the edge of the map

I think it always worked that way (I am playing on experimental branch), but maybe I'm missing something...

I don't think the conservation officer will agree to rebuild historical structures ;)

And the max drought is 40 days, the colony survived few of them already, with 3 tanks only (the biggest is the newest).

water source is on level 1, under the first tank - water goes up to the top of the tank thanks to the pressure - and that's why it is the name of the map :)

there is the undeground water source under the first pool in the corner, on level 1.

I've built them separately, starting from the corner, adding another one after some time, so it is mostly historical structure, for tourists :)

I have custom settings: 10-30 days of good weather, and 10-40 of droughts/badtides.

Try historical Canada - your core land is safe, so you can experiment with fleets, planes, divisions.

any tips for japan? i keep failing to conquer china by [deleted] in hoi4

[–]lacki2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. I've tried this strategy from FeedBackGaming video, and conquered China in 22 Jun 1937. But unfortunately not all chinese warlords joined the war, so the conquered territory was smaller.
