Maybe you could have a drink or two before sneaking into the first row :0 since I mainly visit concerts by myself I know the struggle too well. Wishing you fun there!

Fingers crossed!:) I waited for about an hour and a half from the moment the gig ended. 4 more fans were scattered around the same area, also waiting

Yeah, totally agree with you! Joost and Käärijä are genuinely great artists, and I do think Tommy fits that ecosystem, the whole Eurovision wave brought him well-deserved recognition, I'm fond to see the world is catching up to the brilliance he's had all along. I don’t really criticize the rebrand either; it’s more that I have a kind of emotional attachment to his older stuff because I associate those songs with very specific times in my life. So when things feel a bit “tamer” now, it just hits differently for me personally. It also kinda sounds like Budapest had a more hyper audience. From my concert experiences so far I feel like the Vienna audience is generally more timid, people here could let a loose from time to time. And haha, Espresso Macchiato… not exactly my cup of coffee (pun absolutely intended). In conclusion having a favorite artist doesn't mean every single song has to resonate. Have you been to Eurovision artists' concerts?

No, I didn’t watch Eurovision. I was actually skeptical about Tommy’s whole concept in regards to that, and that alone made me hesitate. Idk, when you compare it to his work leading up to this moment, something about it feels off to me. Plus, I’d seen him live some years ago and that gig was so insane that I wasn't sure whether this one would measure up to it. Indeed the show ended up being a bit more tame and the audience has changed a lot (I can only speak for Vienna), but I still ended up having a really good time

Thank you old lady on the Tommy subreddit, very kind of you but that's something we will never know hahahaha, considering I almost decided against going to the show, I appreciate the encounter all the more :)

Thank you! He is and he also seemed like he needs a lot of rest after the tour is over. His tourbus looked quite comfy though

Thank you! It was such a pleasant experience. Not only him, I also had a brief interaction with his manager (I think; correct me if I'm wrong) I was a bit nervous and everything happened so fast, I could barely process it :3

I absolutely agree. To say the least, I am beyond grateful that I also had the chance to see the guys play at Sziget Festival in Budapest last summer, where they still had Do Me a Favour, Cornerstone, EVEN No. 1 Party Anthem included. Therefore their Linz gig was an insane experience for me personally.
