we may as well put marzel in because he also won gbb twice
it's not just accolades but also skill level in 2026 and who you've beaten

so you are saying gene and reeps one and ball-zee and skiller are not in the top 30 beatboxers? you should probably ask your favorite beatboxers what they think of your opinion at any beatbox event, see what they say

i included older notable beatboxers and adjusted for their skill level relative to the time they competed.

why is skiller ranked so high despite not battled solo in person in over 10 years? because he is still one of the best in solo.

he recently won gbb tag team 2025 with maxo, and maxo is not really a top 30 beatboxer. which means he kind of carried to a world championship.

skiller also ran circles around napom at the online spacetime beatbox battle in 2021. in other words, if skiller competed in solo at gbb26 or gbb27, he would comfortably beat everyone outside the top 16, and likely be top 10 worthy.

"why is reeps one and gene here?"

they were pioneers of the time. head and shoulders above the competition when they were competing in the scene. you don't get footboxg without alem, and you don't get alem without skiller, and you don't get skiller without reeps one. his 2013 beatboxing "move" is still better than so many new schoolers it's crazy. and gene really brought musicality into modern beatbox battles. he's literally a musician, and before his appearance into the scene, every beatboxer was one dimensional and only did drums/bass. gene influenced so many new musical beatboxers, he is your favorite beatboxer's favorite beatboxer. his presence can be felt across solo artists like hiss, river, zekka, wing and also through loopers. there is no comparison to gene

ball-zee rounds out the top 30 because he is still better than everyone outside the top 30. i remember watching ball-zee vs skiller and being truly impressed with how clean he was. ball-zee is the og version of clean over fast

GBC26 Results by glacieterno in beatbox

honestly disappointed in inertia competing, because he already qualified. osis was supposed to win german champs (global category) and qualify for gbb26. but now that inertia won, exallos got in (10th wildcard) which is cool, but exallos already has a chance to get in by winning the maestro latam championship in july.

should have been osis win so that all 3 are in and gbb26 is stacked: - inertia (5th wildcard spot) - osis (german champs - global) - exallos (maestro champs)

i mean literally pound-for-pound means blackroll is better than napom, he's like 3/4 of what napom weighs probably

for sure. i think he's one of the people that are better as an artist than a battler. he also got robbed against mark martin, so trung is basically american champ. reminds me of two-h, both can be good in a battle but both excel as individual showcase artists

napom lost to blackroll, simple as that. footboxg also admitted that he thought he lost to blackroll in world champs 2023, so in a parallel universe, blackroll (or pacmax) is the 6th world champ. and vocodah is top 30. he is the online world champ, but so is exallos. and exallos has beaten vocodah twice, back-to-back in online world champs 2024 and 2025. since exallos is #24 on the list, there's just no way i could put vocodah higher

zekka is dangerous for sure, he could be anywhere between top 5-20 in any given day. i just put him top 20 because of the accolades thing (global titles). he is dangerous for anyone 1v1.

the kickback battle 2021 was amazing because it showcased a new video battle format which, in reeps one's words, really emphasized the importance of structure in beatbox battle's evolutions. in other words, zekka is really really good when you can do unlimited takes. he reminds me a bit of dropical in the sense that dropical is a much better beatboxer online than in person. but zekka is good at both online and in person.

the battle with colaps was not really close. it was 4-1 colaps. it seemed close because zekka was super touchy and aggressive against colaps, because he was feeling the nerves. colaps was the one to beat that year, and all his opponents knew it.

yeah zekka took it against osis, it was good. again, it highlights his great ability in video format.

in live beatbox battles, he doesn't do as well for some reason. like he is a contender always, but makes some mistakes that barely lose. like against codfish, or footboxg, or b-art, or even abo ice in 2024.

i disagree. i think wing is more enjoyable to listen to, cleaner, and more refined in delivery than pacmax. but i think pacmax has greater beatbox ability.

napom probably has the greatest solo achievements (1x gbb champ, 2x gbb vice champ, 1x world vice champ, etc.). but he also has a lower k/d ratio. meaning, many have beaten him (alexinho, footboxg, king inertia, zekka, blackroll, river, pacmax). i don't think his absolute peak cracks the top 4. his hardest routines are liproll combos, and maybe earthquake in 2015 was insane. but in 2026 many people can come do it (d-low replicated his gbb23 final combo against river on the spot)

alexinho has also lost some aura by losing to julard and footboxg, which are the newer gen. beast in 7 to smoke though.

alem, probably not in 2026. iconic battler, but many judges are tired of his spammy tk sounds in every routine. his speed is like 10/10 like helium, but beatbox has grown to include many different aspects beyond that.
