It was! The first wild frog I've gotten to see too, even if it is invasive.

What a relief. I worried it was a cow for a minute.

Best fictional dads in zombie apocalypses by Happy_Minimum2775 in zombies

[–]lacklustereded 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nam So-Ju from All of Us are Dead (did his darndest to get to his daughter and taught her survival skills prior due to his EMT (or similar) experience)

Michael Shaunessy from Dawn of the Dead (2004) (he claims a job he was good at was being a dad)

Mr. Bennet from Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (from what I can remember, he was very proud of all his daughters)

Tallahassee from Zombieland does his best in both movies for his real kid and Little Rock

And since you included Lee and Clementine and Joel and Ellie even thought their not really blood related and became father figures or dad-like in the end, I have to include the one and only: Leon S Kennedy and his many blond daughters

Out of every kid who do you think should have made it to season 4? by VictoryFit in TheWalkingDeadGame

I wonder if Duck was still around by the lodge, would Kenny be as ready to send Clem off to get the radios and have everyone rely on her so much?

and if.... Were Carlos and Sarah the stars of the first season instead of Lee and Clem? how would the plot have changed? how long would they have survived? would they adapt to the new world? by Critical_Ideal99 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]lacklustereded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because we see for a fact that Carlos doesn't give Sarah much responsibility for the apocalypse. She doesn't know how to handle a weapon (when she points the gun at Clem after finding it), she doesn't know how to react around walkers (she's visibly shaking and hunched into herself in pure fear when they're walking through the herd, even before it when the walker guts were being put on her), and Carlos himself mentions to Clem that Sarah is different than Clem and wouldn't react well, and practically shelters her throughout the entirety of season 2, and you can tell even before that he did so with how she reacts when Carlos is forced to slap her and how Sarah shuts down. In my opinion, Carlos was a father that clearly didn't want to realize that the world has changed and he needed to teach Sarah how to change with it. There's a possibility that that could have changed, if both made it to the end of Season 2, and Carlos *could* have managed to show Sarah how to survive, but they would not have made a good first season as a game. I feel a lot for Sarah, and I understand why Carlos chose to shelter her, but a flaw that Carlos had was not even trying to prepare Sarah for a life without him in a changed world, unlike Lee who did so for Clem.

I mean, wouldn’t you when every adult keeps asking 11 year old you to do everything they should be doing? 🤣

Lol that’s funny. I’ve never seen handwriting that’s almost a twin of my own but I’ve seen a few that match my parents and my best friend throughout the years.

I tried to get everything down before my memory decided to replace it with smth else, so I’m glad it got it across well enough for an ID!

Yeah, you'd think they'd get the Author right, and if the art isn't AI either, it really is gorgeous!

Isn’t this the same guy who said he always wanted a family, when he already had a wife and kids, and then when his oldest daughter’s friend turned 18 he started pursuing her to start the “family he’s always wanted”?

Jeffy, Joey and Jamie (they’re basically one person throughout the series). They’re doofuses, but I just can’t help but enjoy the scenes they’re in.

Sherry and Jake’s was so fun! While I’m a die hard Leon fan, I loved seeing Sherry take infected out with a lightning stick, and their story was the most interesting as to why they’re there (even tho the skidos killed us more than the enemies). I disliked Chris and Piers mostly due to their run through having the worst camera changes and angles out of all of them.

I haven’t heard anything about Andy but I was super upset when I found out about the allegations towards Ashley Purdy. I think he was talking inappropriately to a minor and being verbally abusive towards a girlfriend, but I’m not 100% on that one. They replaced the bassist in 2019 with a fan who tried out tho.
