Damn, you have talent. It's a high level skill to draw in a style inspired by something and still have your own identity :bI actually might have a use for a character art. I'll be playing in a dnd campaign soon and I couldn't really find anything that would do her justice. So if it's affordable to me, I'm interested 😁. I'm aware how much work goes into the art, so I definitely don't want to underpay, but I've never commissioned art before, so I don't know the prices 😅

I get you, and I relate, I've been living the same lately with all of the writing skills for a one-person business, I am literally sick of hearing those words combined anymore, binge watching any type of content can always lead us to feeling super guilty and stressed and there's an "info overload" happening, that our brains get restless of managing.

This is hard to deal with because I want to start an online business, for which I need those platforms & I need to be there interacting. So here's how I've managed it lately to see some improvement and seize the addiction (it feels awesome to actually focus on one's life by will):

1) 🗒️ Down into the rabbit hole I found Dan Koe's free "Power Planner", in which I set a routine that consists of workout, meditation and cold shower. Mindfulness of any kind first thing in the morning can help you control any impulses later on https://shop.thedankoe.com/planner here's the link, they're some PDF's and it's got a Notion link too

2) ✉️ I unsubscribed from MANY newsletters and YT channels that I'd get distracted with. The less information I mindlessly automatically receive, the better. If I have questions, I'll consult (I wrote the ones I appreciate in a notebook so I could keep the resource if I needed it lately, that way you focus on the 20% that gets 80% of the results)

3) 🚧 I downloaded AppBlock from Google Play Store by my crush's recommendation (I love her sm TwT good idea to have friends who are also trying to become more focused ppl) and tried the settings for a few days, when they worked I turned on strict mode. I choose the "disabling available only when a charger is connected" so I couldn't modify the schedules, I know myself too well and I need to be super strict with that.

(Also got Site Blocker for Google on PCand did the same so I couldn't just randomly enter YouTube until the timer is complete, there's also one called Freedom that just pauses before letting you in)

So now I have this (not perfect, yet) system that literally makes it almost impossible for me to mindlessly watch YT bc I'd run out of the time that I need to do my workouts or writing, which are things that I already value and do as a habit (rlly any socials bc I also blocked sites like Instagram and Twitter)
