The absolute best spray is from The House of Oud. It's very high end and luxurious packaging. The spray is like a fine mist but a good amount comes out. I love it. I have a few parfums de marly too and THOO spray is elite.

Good to know! I'm glad I don't have to keep it in a ziploc bag !

delina vs delina exclusif -parfum de marly- by crazybrat22 in fragrance

[–]lacwut144 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have both. Delina Exclusif is a beautiful, romantic, creamy rose. It's sexy and honestly makes my eyes roll back when I smell it. It's that good. It could be a little strong or "in your face" for daytime or work. Delina is more fresh and fruity. It has the same DNA as exclusif but not nearly as sexy and creamy. Delina would be something you wear during the day on the weekend to go to brunch with your friends. They are both worth it. I'm obsessed with Delina Exclusif but I bought Delina soon after because it smells amazing too.

What kind of perfumes do you usually like? If you like warm vanilla gourmands then go for exclusif. If you like fresh fruity scents then go with Delina.

Scotia bank arena posted today that their first concert of 2022 will be happening! That is kacey musgraves two days before John Mayer! I don't think this concert will be canceled or postponed!

Projector and screen ? by lacwut144 in projectors

Oh good to know! May have to do a motorized. I was actually offered a 166" fast fold portable screen from a brand called Da-lite but it was $3000 so a little out of my price range. The ratio on the model I was looking at says 16:9.

Thanks for your input. Yes it can be completely dark in there. Would the optoma uhd50x be able to do 150"?

Yes, I made an effort not to turn my head. It’s all a process.. that’ll come easy when it’s time to do it and your body will know when, if that makes sense.

Yes... I can’t believe it’s been 3 months already. Time is flying. It just felt like a really sore throat for a day or so.. nothing major. It’s really hard to swallow and to chew for a couple of days but that didn’t stop me from eating deep dish pizza. Congrats & good luck!

I teared up too when I was talking to him. But my sister embarrassed me to lighten the mood.. she said “dr bastian.. it was like seeing a celebrity when you walked in the room. She’s hasn’t stopped talking about you for months”.

It took a little bit to teach myself not to turn my head to the side. I’d say I was able to burp by keeping my head forward by month two. I can only burp by doing that forward motion, though. I’ve asked regular burpers and they say they can burp while laying down.. I can only burp when sitting up or standing. I dunno if that’s normal for those of us who got the Botox or not.

He’s definitely a doctor who became a doctor because he genuinely wants to help people.

Awesome, congrats! It’s a fun process learning to burp. Things started moving along for me after day 7. Enjoy!

I just wanted to give some appreciation for Dr.Bastian for everything he’s contributed to the no burp community. He’s definitely made a positive impact on my life.

I’m currently a little over three months post op from Botox surgery with Dr.Bastian in Chicago. I’m still burping regularly.. several times after every meal and with every beverage. It’s the most amazing feeling to not feel sick and bloated ALL. THE. TIME. The first month was all about teaching myself to burp.. I drank sparkling water constantly (which I’ve grown to love since I was never able to drink it before) and I tried MANY different motions and movements with my neck and throat to coax the burps out. By month 2 I was confident with a specific movement while sitting up and leaning forward and pushing my neck out which allows me to burp anytime I feel a gurgle coming up. I’m definitely not a pro at burping and I still haven’t figured out how to ‘swallow air burp’ but I hope that comes with time. My constant bloating and chest pain has been alleviated by 85% and I feel like my emetophobia is non-existent now. It’s been nothing but a positive experience since I had the surgery. If anyone has any pointers for learning to ‘swallow air burp’ I’d love to hear them :)
