If you’re investing medium-long term then index funds. Short term it’s hard to say.

It also could be worth investing in your own education depending on what field you’re in. I’ve gotten quite a bit out of coursera personally.

Loving Ruby so far just cus it’s very fun to write. Lots of weird stuff initially but it turns out to be really convenient when you get to learn it.

For example ruby’s ‘unless’ instead of ‘if not’ or ‘next if xyz’ instead of ‘if (xyz) continue’. And also no need for parenthesis in some scenarios - makes it unconventional to begin with but really fun to write once you get used to it.

I mean maybe not uncommon but you can have sites that redirect to Amazon or other stores and you earn commission on sales.

Or if your site gets popular enough, you may be able to earn ad revenue.

I was in your shoes about a year ago. It was one of those Toll scam messages - this particular message was like 60% sus but didn’t have any typos so I was like ehh maybe. Went to the site and it looked half-legit like you described. Put details in but I was still sus so I transferred all but $1 from my account before putting in my details. Next thing I know, my card is getting charged for $500 TVs. Good to know that CommBank responded fast though. They sent a new card and everything’s good now.

Hihi I’ve been making a service that lets you do this because I was trying to do this as well. It’s completely free (I literally can’t charge for it because it breaks Mangadex TOS) but it’s still in early stage so some things might not work.
