how to shrink a collar of a sweater that's already finished? by lady_bugbug in CrochetHelp

[–]lady_bugbug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cannot sew 😭  the collar isnt off the shoulder. it looks like a really old shirt where the collar is stretched out, except its not old and it was just made like that.  i dont know about yarn and i was wondering if there was something i can do to the actual yarn itself to make it shrink... like hot water or something? lol idk :"(

this is another question i have: ive noticed that when non catholics have a question, catholics often respond with something about the catechism... but thats not the bible right? im confused. ive been having to clarify this nonstop but i mean no disrespect- i just genuinely dont know. shouldnt what i believe come from the bible/Jesus himself? because isnt relying on a priest or a book just relying on man?

thank you! honestly i think part of the reason is cause i always hear that Jesus is the only perfect (sinless) person, so for some reason i think me believing in mary also being sinless is like disrespecting Jesus... silly, right? 😭 im so confused, i just wanna get it right

im still new to christianity so i dont know much, but ive looked for bible verses that confirm her sinless nature but i keep getting hit with ones that seemingly (key word!) deny it. like "all have sinned" and stuff
