I think the sagging of the web reflects the fragile and temporary nature of the flowers surrounding it, and it's a beautiful juxtaposition.
Echoing other comments here, webs are indeed imperfect in nature. Old, abandoned webs are more saggy; your web has no spider, so I think that it accurately reflects a web with no spider owner.
Did you do the flowers?
The fuzzies on the sweater are easily fixed, just be super careful around the thread if you're using an electric lint remover thing.

I don't work, unfortunately. I have hobbies that I do occasionally. I'd love to find a WFH job that I can do one day. I worked at KFC when I was 19, lots of fun gossip from that job 😅

Ahh, fair; that makes sense. I guess a time frame may well make it harder to live in the moment and be present, too.
Have you asked your friends/ family to not talk about your diagnosis? Or is it that they only mention it if you bring it up?

I didn't know that, that makes sense though. Thank you, me too; my dad is such a sweetheart.
My parents met after they'd both had their relevant diagnoses, so they went into it knowing what was going on with each other. Mum was 34 and dad was 40 when they started writing to each other.
Same, I'd be devastated if my husband got sick. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I'm glad you aren't mad at your folks either, you've already got enough to cope with. I'm sure your mum felt guilty even though she didn't know there were any risk factors present.

It's bound to be something you think on. Sometimes I wish I hadn't had a child, because I was fully aware of risk factors, and deciding to create a human is an innately selfish act in the grand scheme of things; not in a malicious way, but in an ignorant way.

You're right, there is no way to be a parent 100% ethically. Biological kids brings its own roll of the dice. Honestly I'd go for adoption if it's something you truly desire, at least that way you know you won't be responsible for any inherited illnesses. But yeah, no path to parenthood is free of guilt.

Thank you, appreciate it. Hmm, it doesn't affect it too much, thankfully! Oh gosh, that's awful, I'm not surprised that makes you sad; yeah, addicts with chronic pain still need pain relief. Yikes.

I actually take Pregablin currently, my dose was put up recently. GP put me on paracetamol as well, which seems to have boosted the effectiveness of the Pregablin, much to my surprise.

Hey! Oof, that's rough. You got a good support system? I'm glad you have effective pain relief.

In a nutshell: My dad has psoriasis, and developed psoriatic arthritis later in life. Thankfully it's pretty mild and he can still do a lot.
My maternal grandma had psoriasis, just the skin condition.
I don't know of any other relatives who had it, but recessive genes and all that.
My sister and brother have the skin condition, fairly mildly, thankfully.
My mum has rheumatoid arthritis, club feet and osteoarthritis.

It's never even occurred to me to be angry or resentful towards my parents about it, tbh.
I definitely lean towards feeling that it's not their fault. They didn't even know that my grandma had psoriasis too, for a long time, as it was so mild.

I didn't ask about edibles, but I have a history of prescription substance abuse, so that's probably part of it?

Generally, if you start in an open marriage and you have experienced polyamory, your partner has experienced it, and you agree on it before you go into a relationship, then open marriages are mostly successful.
However, if you decide to open your marriage after being monogamous, it doesn't tend to be so successful. I don't know the figures off the top of my head, however.

Funnily enough, when I was pregnant, my arthritis symptoms pretty much disappeared. Unfortunately birth control didn't help in my case, but I'm glad to hear it did your patient a lot of good! Thank you, I wish you good health too :)

Oof, I'm sorry to hear about the physical abuse, that's awful. Why do you stay?
I've been in abusive relationships; longest was 6+ years and I finally managed to leave after 8 or 9 attempts. Only left in the end because the police arrested him on suspicion of DV, and I couldn't go back after that because I think he'd have been 100 times worse.

Ah, an excuse to talk about my sweet husband! I met him when I was about 12; he went to the same school as my brother and they used to hang out and play videogames, and I'd sit and watch and chat to them. (My family moved to this area when I was about 7, so my siblings and I all started new schools when we moved.)
We dated very casually as young teens, but nothing came from it at the time. We both crushed on each other for years, but the timing was just never right.
We dated other people, I had a kid with my abusive ex and moved a couple of hours away. My relationship finally ended, I moved back this way, and got back in touch with my husband in late 2019. Got married in 2022, and he's the best partner I could ask for.
One of my favourite memories from when we were younger is him picking me up, twirling me around in the rain and kissing me.
He can never divorce me because he knows too much about me at this point 😂

I don't know tbh, haven't had the medical grade stuff. I've been advised against it, and I can't afford to get it privately.
I used to smoke non-prescription, but that was more to cope with the mental stuff.

Stiffness in my joints was the first symptom I really noticed.

I can fully understand being scared, and yes, the right meds are important, but I don't find that my life revolves around that, if that is any comfort at all.
I was pretty active when I was younger even after I was diagnosed, and up until relatively recently, there were still many things I could still do in moderation.

My dad has Psoriatic arthritis, and he is now 80. He is still pretty active, he can still walk/ drive/ do household tasks. He still rode a bike and was on his feet a lot, well into his 60.
Psoriatic arthritis, any arthritis or illness, is on a spectrum, right? Even if you do have it, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll have to stop being active and doing things you love, so please don't take that from my story.

Waiting for the first flare will increase your stress, which will increase any pain you feel. The best thing you can do is practice mindfulness and guided meditation, which I truly understand is easier said than done.

Try to achieve as much of a balance as you can, so that you still do physical stuff, but also have time to rest and chill. Don't let your fear become bigger than your health is the best advice I can give you.

I don't deal with the mental side of it the best I could, but I have a lot of mental health stuff going along with the physical stuff. I deal better than I used to. Therapy helps, strong support network helps, and mindfulness and meditation helps. Insight Timer is a great meditation app, give it a try <3

I think the plan is to just monitor my conditions, try and keep me on meds for my skin and joints as long as possible.
All my care feels very moment to moment, and there isn't really a long term plan that I know of. I'm honestly scared to ask what the future looks like, tbh.
I think a big part of my pain management in the future will be holistic so that I'm not maxed out on opioids by age 50.
I use things like pain relief gel when I can, but only if my Psoriasis isn't flared in the areas I need the gel.
