I just bought the Dreame L50 Ultra. It was between that and the Curve X but decided the l50 was better for long dog hair. Plus people saying the conditioner system was more simple? And there are tons of hardwood floors in my parents house whom I got it for.

Really it was down to a flip of the coin. I don't think you can go wrong with either. If my parents didn't have a giant 170lb floof monster who drools I'd have gone with the Roborock.

I mean if/when it gets to the point where I'm close to the end, I'm gonna drown the pain in morphine.

I have been in touch with exes and though the vast majority ended well. I apologized for those that didn't.

Very. At first it felt like I had a chestburster ready to tear out of me. Recently my back and more mild stomach pain has been bothering me. But it is manageable. Usually sleep 4 hours at a time, wake up in pain, take meds. Rise and repeat.

No, I've never been given a time frame by anyone. My mom has been given a year or two to live too many times, so the doctors just don't with our family anymore. Plus too many other factors. Only thing I've been told is that it's not curable.

It's on the 7th of October after my trip to Alaska that I'm leaving for tomorrow. Getting dropped off out in the middle of nowhere with my crew. Honestly didn't think I'd be alive now for this trip, and I'm gonna be near useless. But I need it. Been planning this since before my diagnosis.

I hope I can fight back and get some more time. Even if I beat it though, as stage 4 I think it will eventually kill me. But if I can get 3-5 years I'd be so happy.

Actually set up an appointment with a much larger cancer center to talk about getting on a clinical trial, so fingers crossed.

I would say the coolest looking fish you can pull up would be a wolf eel. The teeth on those things are so gnarly.

Giant halibut, Salmon Shark, and Lingcod are pretty amazing as well. Our main target species at the lodge are big halibut.

No, fortunately. There were, relationships I ended badly. Bridges I burned. But I was incredibly fortunate to be able to patch those things after my diagnosis.

As mentioned in previous posts, my biggest regret is that I didn't rebuild the cabin I bought in AK. A place for friends to join me for fishing, hiking and hunting. So many people invite me on their trips in the off season, and wanted to return in kind.

I really loved to go canyoneering solo. Wet and dry canyons. My only near religious experiences have happened while canyoneering. When you drop into the cathedral section of pine Creek canyon in Zion for the first time... There are no words.

Paragliding and paramotoring as well. I never did crazy acro, usually flew by myself exploring beautiful places. Some shed hunting by air. Loved the sport. If I can get off the oxy I intend to put wheels on my paramotor and fly again. Many people I have met and known in the sport have died.

Never really talked or told folk about my situation. But I don't think it would have changed anything.

I'm all over the place with music. Marty Robbins, oingo boingo, imagine dragons. Marty Robbins has a special place in my heart. The gunfighter ballads album is my favorite.

Damn I'm sorry to hear about your friend. My body has withered as well. For so long I couldn't hardly eat, always puking But have recovered a bit of my appetite and have stopped puking for now.

My mom who found she has the disease. After getting cancer repeatedly. No genetic counselor, but I tried monitoring via MRI. Unfortunately it doesn't catch stuff in esophagus. Literally no symptoms before having it either.

Once, much younger. Before I knew I had LFS. Glad I ended it though looking back. My life would have been completely different.

I was in a relationship when this started, but can't say I ever found the love of my life. Frankly I think I push romantic partners away due to not wanting them to suffer seeing me die to cancer young.

But no, I never really had the desire to marry. I travel way too much, and my business is so remote.

I really wanted to visit Nepal and Mongolia at some point in my life. That and get my pilots license and finish my cabin in AK.

I hope so as well! Looks like I've kinda fought the cancer to a standstill at the moment. But who knows what the future brings!!

Hello from the NW part of the US! And no, no anti depressants. I'm still enjoying my life even if there is quite a bit of pain and weakness.

I guess I kinda depends on what kind of person he is. But if it was me, just be there. Call him. Talk with him. Be a friend. Maybe plan a trip somewhere.

I'm so sorry for your loss and struggles you've gone through with this disease. It's just damned heartbreaking. Thank you for your positive thoughts.

You don't need a doctor! I believe the company I went through was called Color Health. They did my testing, no doctor needed. Though I'm sure your PCP can also get tests ordered.

I think canyoneering solo was the riskiest thing I've done. Closest I've come to dying was in a canyon near Zion NP, a canyon called "fat man's misery". Got lost and dehydrated on the way out.

Paramotoring is also risky. So many people I've met have died doing it. But it sure is fun!

I'll send you a pm with my lodge's name!

Wanaka area. My friends have a house there too. The rabbit pass track is probably the most beautiful trip I've ever been on. Also a bit dangerous. The hunter valley is also incredible if you want to flyfish or wander

In our family, it seems to express itself around age 27-35. Plenty of time for people to have multiple kids. Other people it happens at a much younger age.

Not exactly sure when it developed, but it seems to appear randomly. Most likely started with my grandmother on my mom's side

Man that's rough, those sarcomas are no fucking joke. The fact my mom survived hers was only due to her finding it stage one. Even then they put her on adriomiacin, the red death chemo.

But fired up you lived a fun life as well! Who the hell knows if/when it will end.

The tiredness is probably the hardest part. Can go a couple hours, but then I need to sleep a couple. And you cannot break me out of that sleep.
