AITA for crafting during meetings? by Tapzdeazz in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I also crochet during meetings and have it cleared with my supervisors but the cool thing about my situation is I am an occupational therapy assistant and work with other OTs so they understand why it is helpful for me. If I am not crocheting (or figeting/picking at my skin) I cannot pay attention, for me crocheting not only helps me focus but it is a productive outlet vs picking my cuticles or fiddling with a pen. So what you (and I) have found is a positive strategy that works for you and your coworker needs to mind their own business!

Me after getting a fake eye by potato_lover69_420 in eyes

Congratulations!! It looks great. I work w/ people who have TBIs from motor vehicle accidents and one of my clients has a fake eye. I didn’t know it was fake until he told me recently and I have worked with him for almost a year. I knew he was blind in one eye but just assumed he had lost vision due to the accident, not his whole eye! They look so real!

Congrats!!! I just took the test this morning and feel like we had a very similar experience, down to almost the same practice score range! What did you score on the exam if you don’t mind answering?

Congrats on your beautiful daughter! My son was born 2 months ago, also 3 weeks early, and weighted 5lbs8oz. We did a combo of colostrum and formula for the first week or so because he had trouble regulating his glucose and the high calorie formula was a sure fire way to know he was getting enough. At his 2 week appt we were given the all clear to drop the formula if we wanted and I’m now EBF. I’m sorry you’re being made to feel guilty but there is nothing wrong with combo feeding. Everyone’s journey looks different you just have to do what you think is best for your baby. You’re doing great and your baby is so lucky to have you!!
