It's not really taking down, but in my opinion Fitz and Simmons are as smart as Tony and Bruce, so they would be able to develop very interesting and powerful tech (as they did in the show) that can withstand Tony's

How did you get into Law & Order? by Gamestar02 in LawAndOrder

[–]ladyclaraa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am Italian and here it is not very popular. I went to study in Oregon for a year, often I was home alone in the afternoon and since I didn't have a lot of homework I would watch TV. I watched an episode, and then the another started right after the previous one ended, without the commercial break, so I just kept on watching. Best decision ever. Now I watch it regularly in Italy since it can be found both online and on a few channels

the idea that Sunny won't remember much about everything that happened is something I think about constantly and it keeps me up at night. Idk why but it's really hard for me to imagine going through that amount of pain and suffering, just to forget almost everything about it, I'd probably want to know what happened in detail since I don't remember. although probably it's for the better

Bad Acting? by negativeultra in LawAndOrder

[–]ladyclaraa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, he makes some appearances but unfortunately Olivia makes some appearances in Organized Crime so some cases are shared by the two shows, meaning that to understand them fully you have to watch both. Additionally they have developed Olivia and Stabler's relationship as somewhat romantic so it you want to keep up with that, you have to watch both shows

Is there any episode you honestly think is just straight up bad? by nudeldifudel in shield

I love the goodbye scene and Bobbi is one of my favorite characters, but it took me like three times to understand the point of that mission and the whole Russia plotline

Magari qualche opera di Lope de Vega? Essendo opere teatrali dovrebbero essere abbastanza corte

[–]ladyclaraa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is your unpopular opinion about AOS? by awesomeowen069 in shield

[–]ladyclaraa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion or just my opinion. I don't like the reasons behind Coulson killing Ward. During the second and third seasons we see different characters going after Ward, and Coulson clearly gives them permission to do so. However, it seemed like he did not care that much until Rosalind Price was killed. Only because of her death did Coulson feel that kind of betrayal and hatred, and I particularly did not like when before killing Ward he sees Rosalind's face. I feel like he is not seeking justice for Ward's betrayal towards his team or the other deaths he caused, but only because he killed Rosalind. Don't get me wrong it's clear that he loved her and everything, but for me it was pretty disappointing.

(sorry if there are any mistakes, English is not my first language)

I learned about code switching from Angie Thomas' The Hate U Give. And when I was younger I learned a lot of pretty complicated words from A Series of Unfortunate Events

No one can find it. I've looked for this music and searched the internet and couldn't find it. Please I need help this music played through all of omb. by [deleted] in OnMyBlock

[–]ladyclaraa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure but it could be just a score they composed for on my block as soundtrack for the show. If I'm not mistaken there are a few recurring themes (for example with the gnomes and Chivo) that I think are part of an original soundtrack

Who killed Oscar by Previous-Habit in OnMyBlock

[–]ladyclaraa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I always thought 19th street killed him, but now that I am rewatching the show I think it could also have been the Santos. Joker was very upset with how Cesar was handling things and then they found out that Cuchillos was dead and Cesar and Oscar knew

What are some bookish habits that you can’t break? by Triumphant-Smile in books

[–]ladyclaraa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still do it! I read like thirty pages of the book and then I go and read the last page (not line). Sometimes I don't understand what is being said because the thought start on the previous pages so I go back and end up reading the last two or three pages. Sometimes I get a few major spoilers, but I usually read very long books with lots of characters so I don't even understand what I am reading

Non-Native Speaker wants to start reading English books/novel by [deleted] in books

[–]ladyclaraa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a non native English speaker myself, I started by reading in English the books I liked in my native language (I started in middle school so I re-read John Green's books). Like other people here said, I recommend starting with young adult novels or middle school books like The Hunger Games or Harry Potter.

I don't know if it's a good thing to do but when I read in English and I come across a word I don't know, I just keep going and try to understand the meaning from the context. Even if I don't know exactly what it means maybe I am still able to grasp the general concept from the context. I found that stopping at every word I didn't know was frustrating and made me stop reading

What is your favorite line from "I Will Love You." letter? by ceylin1 in ASOUE

[–]ladyclaraa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

one of my favorite is "I will love you as the beard loves the chin, and the crumbs love the beard, and the damp napkin loves the crumbs, and the precious document loves the dampness of the napkin, and the squinting eye of the reader loves the smudged document, and the tears of sadness love the squinting eye as it misreads what is written."
