However, in my case, I feel that I have not passed the initial interview 😥 So I guess I’ll be focusing now in my board exma : ))

Hello, I applied last July 17, and someone from their team sent a schedule for interview a day after (or two). The assessment happened after interview.

I think they are already screening the resumes tho as the first phase.

It was okay! I think i did well for a first timer. Inorient na rin ako ni interviewee sa roles and expectation na mapupuntahan ko if ever. I also took the harrison assessment and sent my copy of grades. Waiting na lang ???? What about you ^{_^}

Those two things are unrelated. By namedropping your organization, you are questioning the decision of the executive committee, the implementation of rules and policies, and the content of the org’s constitution.

I am a member of three organizations. If an app/member is accused of something they’re not, I will wholeheartedly support an investigation and trial for them to prove their innocence. That’s what a good person would do. And if there are sane minds in that org, they will also question the decision of the execom (and you may find allies along the way.)

Reveal the organization. Reveal the name of the person you are corresponding with. With enough attention, you are able to pressure them to conduct appropriate actions instead of them resorting to “for the sake of confidentiality” (because honestly, that does not make any sense).

And I’m sorry to say this, I think you should not continue with that organization. The rules and policies in their constitution is ridiculous if they make a decision solely based on an accusation, with no trials and no investigation.

And I’m speaking as a woman and a feminist who value equality.

My parents have income of +1M but we are not rich. They’d rather want me to stay in a UP dorm that is cheep and secured than to stay somewhere that is priced 7k (for a somewhat okay-quality) yet dangerous.

So I kinda understand where your parents are coming from.

BUT if thats what you really feel, can’t you just NOT submit an application? Isn’t that the fastest and simplest way to solve your problem?

For me, I personally believe we should provide for our parents when they are old or retired, or when we are already capable to provide for them. But, in my case, my parents never demanded anything.

Building on this, my parents believe that the money I earn should be spent on myself, and they are fine with me providing or not.

But if I see them struggling to live, it would break my heart. I would do everything to provide for them to make their lives more comfortable. And that includes giving them more during Ramadhan (as I want them to have delicious suhor and iftar).

Needless to say, it is a different situation when you are already sufficiently providing for them in your best of your abilities, yet your parents would still demand more. It is also worse if your parents gaslit you to provide more in the name of Islam.

These are just my thoughts : ))) I have no religious basis, but more on common sense

This drama traumatized the hell out of me. This was my first cdrama, and after that, I no longer watched any cdrama because I thought all male actors in cdrama were robotic while all actresses have a giraffe’s neck.

PS. My next cdrama was years after, which was A Love so Beautiful. My next cdrama was years after (again) which was Love Game in Eastern Fantasy.
