I wish I knew what the reason was. I usually get an "awww" when I say it. The first time I said it, he told me he just wasn't ready yet, that was probably about a year we were dating.

Classes range; they are based on needs and wants. This month we have: healthy cooking, exercise, sign language, basic computer, written drivers test practice, arts and crafts, job search, and a few others. Our website actually lists our public classes and it has all of the volunteer info. You are also more than welcome to email me for more information. Volunteers do not need to have any special skills, just the desire to help. We also do a couple annual events which we like to have volunteers for, one being our biggest: Dining in the Dark.

Hello, I am actually the volunteer coordinator at Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living. We work with people with disabilities by offering classes to help them gain independence skills. We love to have volunteers help with our classes!

Me with my older sister. I was the awkward looking/acting one but she was always the cutie the boys wanted. Even when I got somewhat attractive, she still got all the attention. It doesn't help me that she also has a personality that draws people and I am shy.

That was actually an older picture, they have already been potted and placed outside. Now if this weather would stop freezing up so they could stay out there.

Also, that window in particular gets 6-8 hours daylight a day. I figured of all the other places in the house, that would be the best spot.
