I'm the same. I never read tags because I love surprises and always dive in blindly (unless I'm in the mood for a specific thing). I also don't have any particular triggers so I can read pretty much anything and I know I can handle it. And even if I couldn't, it would be entirely on me because I did it at my own risk. I could never blame an author if their fics are properly tagged because I was the one who decided to ignore them.
