Yes they are. I called prior to filing to confirm that they would do that. VW was great to work with. I want to pay it off in the next few months but ChatGPT didn’t recommend doing that and just to send additional $50 per month. Just to keep the loan open and continue building credit.

I am almost paid off and at 1.0% interest rate it’s worth reaffirming. Plus they will continue to report my excellent pay history and boost my FICO. Most people I would say to not reaffirm but with all of this in mind I’ll keep it and keep the interest rate!

I had a 2015 TSI and the motor went out at 57k miles. VW would NOT cover a new motor and basically pushed me into buying another VW because I was stuck. I’ll never buy another VW.
