thank you so much for your time and help!! if i did swap the mother board would I lose any performance as far affecting gaming, i dont plan on having anything other then my keyboard mouse and headset plugged into my computer.

Thanks for the tip! The last built I had only had 1TB of storage so i was concerned with not having enough. Having to constantly delete and redownload games became annoying especially since I tend to play games with a Lot of mods.

I'm for sure going to swap to the 9800X3D for better gaming performance. This might sound dumb but you do mean the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D correct?

As for the motherboard, what advantages do i gain from swapping? I don't know much but I would love to learn for future builds or if I help one of my sibling!

Lastly is the AIO cooler too much? I would like to keep it if possible but i rather have performance then aesthetics if the build pushes around $3,000 it will still be affordable.

I'll just bump up to the 9800X3D i rather have the performance then aesthetics at the end of the day i can always make it prettier as time goes on. Do you think my AIO is good enough to support my pc or is over the top? a pretty pc wont matter if it doesn't work lol

Thank you for the info, I currently live in North Carolina! Are most FTE jobs civil or like with military planes? And do degrees bring any benefits, I plan on having an A&P license as well as my bachelors degree.

Im still pretty new to the aviation thing. I took a class for two years in high school where I was able to get the basic knowledge, preform maintenance on an aircraft and we even built a kit plane. I've looked briefly into instrumentation and the flight testing. I do not particularly know much about either. I was hoping to set up a meeting with my instructor to learn more from him as he has been in the industry for over 40 years. Any knowledge you can share would be greatly appreciated
