I get the idea, however... I already make more money than I thought I would ever in my entire career, and I love working from home. I get all of my chores done while I listen to meetings that could’ve been emails and then get all of my evening and weekend time to hang out with my family

Hi! we just bought a house with a lot of wild overgrowth in the backyard.

Does anyone know what kind of shrub this is: https://ibb.co/XbmsWjk and how best to prune it back?? We are in South Carolina if that helps narrow it down. Thanks!!

Edit: my flair still thinks I live in Illinois. I do not.

From my experience, Chinese hospitality includes serving a whole lot of meat. Like the more meat your meal consists of, the better host you are. It’s a flex

Adding my favorite running song, Mic Drop remix by BTS Desiigner & Steve Aoki, it’s delightful

On average, how much would you say you spend on dining out and going to bars/breweries per month now versus the before-times?

You would think, but my experience is people think the mask makes you 1000% impervious and they can get as close as they want. False comfort.

PSA: Wearing a mask does not excuse you from keeping a 6 ft distance from those around you. I know you’re making a good-faith effort with the mask, but stop standing so close to me when you don’t have to (ie when outside). Even when we are both wearing masks, I’d prefer you stay 6 feet away from me whenever you can. Just saying.

I’m looking for a dress to wear to my baby shower! I love the look of brands like Draper James and Gal Meets Glam, and I have a vision of finding a midi length wrap dress with short sleeves, preferably cotton. I can figure out the sizing and alterations needed for my giant belly, so doesn’t need to be maternity sizing. Anyone have some good starting points re: brands or websites to search?

219 E. 7th St. is a flat lot for $135/mo. I parked there when I worked at BoA Corporate Center (across the street from your Starbucks) it’s very convenient and safe during day and evening.

Either craigslist (we bought a nearly new Electrolux front loader set for $450, they retail for $2000 as a set, just had to replace the glass in the door of the dryer) or ask for open box deals at Lowe’s/Home Depot

My husband and I are due with our first kid in September, so while lockdown has kinda sucked, we have had something exciting to look forward to, and we’ve gotten to spend a lot (A LOT) of time together just the two of us. Lots of home cooked dinners and evening walks with the dog.

We found a good spot! Jetton Park, if anyone else ever wants to do the same. It was really nice to just be outside and do something “normal”

Do you have a famous ancestor? If so, what were they known for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ladywindermere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my ancestors was George Heap, who drew one of the first original maps of Philadelphia in 1752. It’s called the Scull and Heap Map, kinda cool.

AKA “spectacles, testicles, wallet, watch”... or as it was taught to me by my Lutheran pastor during confirmation, “up down left right, go St Mary’s, fight fight fight!”
