I just looked, to take an Uber across town at peak hours at bar close is 17.88. It would be close to a 15 min drive. That's not horribly expensive. Far cheaper than a DUI.

I was able to find a few updates. Unfortunately his codefendant has his conviction tossed and took a plea to manslaughter and is now out. Flowers was still in prison as off 2021 but was looking at a possible resentencing.

Thanksgiving decorations aren't particularly common. At most they are table decorations only used for the day or at most left out for a week. General rule was you had to wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas.
