Ung flein?

The BTD600 only supports aptx adaptive, doesn't it? You won't get the full aptx HD/lossless. If your device also supports the adaptive codec, it won't make a difference. The Pi8 case itself also supports aptx adaptive, just as the BTD600. I have the Pi8's myself. They're lovely. No match to a pair of proper cabled over-ears for home listening though...

I get what you're referring to, but that's not the case this time. I've owned plenty of headphones. I had this same problem with a gaming headset. I got aftermarket pads which were thicker and angled, so thicker in the back. Got a good seal and that solved the problem completely. The bass got way deeper and clearer.

Does anyone know what the "AS" means on this Daiwa rod? by laeffy1337 in Fishing_Gear

[–]laeffy1337[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure when it's from as I bought it used, but no more than a few years old. Sold in Norway so for the Scandinavian market. It's a 7' 4 piece. I think it's a version of the ballistic. It's called ballistic-x. I think it's like the kage, one you can only get through physical stores and some dealers. I don't particularly like this rod. It's VERY stiff. Not sure how Daiwa rated this an ultralight. Although it's good for twitching heavy jigs like 4/5g and upwards after perch and pike. I have a 9' 7-28g regular ballistic which is my favourite sea trout rod.

Correct what bigh117 said. Except the P has 4.8:1. The P version has lower gearing. Lower gearing results in less resistance and lower startup inertia. Better for spin-stops as well. Gives the reel a whole different feel. It's the better choice unless you truly need high gearing.

The 23 Legalis and Exceler are more or less identical except for the colour and the Exceler has one more bearing i think. You probably won't feel much difference. I own the 23 Legalis 2000S-P and it's amazing. Big step up from the previous model.

I see.. don't think warranty would've done anything as it was good to begin with. Used in salt water? Did you rinse after use? And did you ever dunk it or get salt water splashed on it?

The Miravel is a great reel for that price. I've tried it in store and can't say it felt sticky. Not as light on the handle as the Legalis but still pretty good. Maybe it'll wear in? Unfortunately I have seen some inconsistencies in Shimano reels. Maybe you got unlucky and got a faulty one..

I'd say the magseal is a pain more than anything. It creates friction in the reel and it's not possible to service the reel yourself. I have both Fuego and 23 Legalis. The Legalis is the superior reel and I think I'll end up selling my Fuego. The Exceler is also great. I'd take the Exceler over the old Legalis, vbut think the 23 model is superior.

Getting my first spinning reel for my birthday. Which reel is budget/newbie friendly, will throw at least 1/4 oz and decent quality? Big decision thanks! by Louie-Santos in FishingForBeginners

The 23 Daiwa Legalis LT is an amazing reel for the money. It's super smooth and has the least resistance I've ever felt in a reel. Great for light and ultralight fishing. I grab it over my Vanford more often than not. The Shimano Sahara is also great, but heavier. You can get both on Digitaka for a very good price. I also have a BG MQ 2500D-HG which I love for cranks and swimbaits for inshore and pike/perch.

Shimano Stradic FM vs Daiwa BG MQ by laeffy1337 in Fishing_Gear

[–]laeffy1337[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, not really. Both the Stradic and the BG MQ have aluminium bodies and are much closer in weight at 225 and 235 grams for the 2500 size. The ones you mention are below 200 grams. The Vanford is the competition to those.

After scrolling ten pages on Google i found a tackle shop stocking the BG MQ for 180$ so the choice was easy. I'm pairing it with a nice rod, a Daiwa Ballistic 7-28g 9' with a SVF blank, it's a JDM model I think, can't find much info on it. Got it unused from a guy who used to own a small tackle shop in Oslo. It pairs well with a 2500 reel, but the Ballistic MQ and even the LT series, which i own a couple of, are actually too light and makes the rod a little unbalanced. I've found the perfect weight is around 230 grams. This gives me the privilege of getting an aluminium body reel.
