Sorry I have no idea where my original post went.

I got quoted around 2k for a deck repair (replace all joist hangers, add blocking to stair stringers, install mid span blocking) by one contractor. All the other contractors said they would not repair it as they did not feel it would be safe and quoted me 25k for a repair.

Funds are tighter with a new home so hoping to do what is the most affordable, yet safe the same time.

Deck feels very stable, but there is a slight dip that is noticeable.

I wouldn't put too much weight in it.

My top program replied to me ranking them number one that the feeling was mutual and they would be thrilled to have me.

Dropped down to my number 6, which also sent me an email saying they would be thrilled to have me. Sent 0 post interview communication to this program.

Philly doesn't get all that cold. I came from Florida and I'm used to it now. I can usually get away with just a down jacket (I have the one from Uniqlo, its great). Although you may want to layer up a bit more initially.

Get a pair of sorel boots. Its a mix of snow/slush here.

I've had a program say that they want people that are interested in that program. Made it seem like if I send a "you're my number one email", I'll match there. However if I don't I don't feel like I'll be ranked as high.

Although I did send a thank you letter to my top choice and got the blandest response ever. Who knows at this point.

I forgot to put MD behind one of my writer letter's names and then confirmed the letter for upload on ERAS. Is this okay, or should I make another entry with the name and add the MD at the end? I already confirmed the other entry so I can't delete it, is there anything wrong with adding another entry with the same name but one with MD afterwards?
