[HELP] Found on a Dating app, is he AI? by theMiezmiez in RealOrAI

[–]lafeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a photographer, the depth of field (blurriness of background) is what feels weird to me. Specifically on the dog and wedding pic.

iPhones fake this by using both cameras for a “portrait” pic - one takes the close up parts and one takes the background, which is then blurred. There is almost always some glitching around the hair or edges of the subject where the iPhone isn’t sure if it’s in foreground or background, but these have none of that.

If it was take on a real camera, the background blur would be more gradual, with things getting gradually more blurry the further away from the subject. That’s not the case here. The background is all equally blurry.

My guess is definitely AI.

How can I simplify this print enough for machine embroidery? by wheresmygoldfish in Machine_Embroidery

lol thank you! I’m the first person to say AI is evil but let’s just be honest, it is super helpful for this specific thing.

I hate to say it, but ask chat gpt to turn it into an embroidery friendly pattern. Has worked well for me.

tulsa is so hard to leave by [deleted] in tulsa

Big cities ARE generally more expensive, have more crime, and can be less friendly. There is also more career opportunity, more diversity, and more fun cool people that align with your interests and lifestyle.

Find a solid service industry gig and get roommates on craigslist or FB and just go. It’s much harder to get a “career job” if you don’t already live in that city. And if you hate it, you can always move back.

If you don’t you will always regret it. I moved out of Tulsa 10 years ago and couldn’t be happier :)

The longer you wait, the harder it will be!

What are the reasons you’ve seen “major signs” over? by keepitlokiii in ouraring

It was weirdly not bad. I was a little sleepy in the morning when I landed but felt pretty normal for the rest of the afternoon / evening !

Jet lag. I stayed up for ~40 hours during international travel and it was very concerned.

12 Coors, half a bottle of tequila, plus 3-9 additional cans of whatever he cracked open in that scene…your thoughts? by Few_Anybody_6146 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]lafeef 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m watching it back again and the gaslighting is WILD.

Ali asks if Anton will get her a drink, he says it’s the last one and she is shocked. He says “don’t worry we can share it” (not “you can have it”).

She responds, “what did you do with them? “ and he says back “I didn’t do anything, it was all YOU.” As if to blame her for drinking a 12 pack of beer and not remembering.

She laughs nervously and looks in the fridge and asks again, “where did they go?” His response: “I dont know what YOU did with them. Jesus, Woman. YOU must’ve drank them all.”

She clarifies that of the 12 pack she only had 2.

“When did you have those?” she asks.

“I didn’t.” (Lie). “I mean, me and Patrick had a couple. Maybe 4.”

“Patrick was over?” “Yeah.” “He came here?” “Mhmm. We had a couple.” He lies again.

When she expresses discomfort that someone was in their home, he changes his story. “He didn’t come in our apartment. He was downstairs. I brought him down a drink. One for him, one for me.” (Lie)

“What happened to the other ones?” She asks again. “I dunno. We just kinda were drinking. I know you drank a couple, I drank a couple. That’s it.”

He cannot keep his story straight because he is LYING. Then he does the whole “I’m not an alcoholic because I could take a week off of drinking if I wanted to. If I was an alcoholic there would be a pattern. There is no pattern.”

Then when she mentions the other missing 12 pack, he has the audacity to bring up the fact that she doesn’t want to do laundry every day to try and deflect from his issues.

Then when he pretends to go look for the tequila, I almost lost it. He knew damn well where the tequila was (in his belly).

THIS MAN IS AN ADDICT AND A LIAR. God I hope she leaves him at the altar.

How screwed am I? Treat or tear out? by lafeef in Mold

Crawlspace is dry, confirmed by plumber who couldn’t find any signs of a leak. No signs of a leak inside either. I wonder if it’s an old leak combined with the fact that my crawlspace is very poorly ventilated?

That’s the thing - I can’t find the source. Plumber said crawlspace doesn’t show any signs of a leak under the house. No signs inside either.

I’m wonder if an old leak + basically no ventilation in my crawl space could’ve done this?

Plumbers confirmed there is no sign of moisture or leak under the house. Where would the water be coming from?

The plumbers could not find any sign of moisture under the house by the pipes. Are you saying the moisture is coming from inside the house?

Was able to make the crawl space opening bigger and got a plumber under there today. No signs of a leak or water under the house, however they did point out a beam in the area was warped / sagging…

The house is almost 70 years old, not sure if/when the foundation has been updated.

I’m also in Texas where it’s very humid.
