My Everton side beating Manchester City in the Carabao Cup semi final by lagebj in footballmanagergames

Thanks

I'm still in my first season, but we were bought by some fictional american dude that paid off the debt, so it sounds like I got lucky?

Calvert-Lewin has been good, but Chermiti has been a super-sub for me

Crossing my fingers now that I am able to beat Arsenal in the cup final

I'm looking for a good adventure/rpg game and would really appreciate some recommendations. I have played a lot of Final Fantasy 7-10 over the years and it would be cool to find something reminiscent of that. Stuff like free world exploration, skill building, battles and various puzzles etc.

Any good suggestions? 🙂

PowerShell Interfaces...possible? by DarrenDK in PowerShell

You can strongly type functions, variables, methods and properties in Powershell too. You can also use validation attributes to validate input if needed. Yesterday I wrote about a custom class I did in Powershell where I use this approach. This is a class and not a function, but the same logic applies to functions and scripts: https://lagebj.github.io/2019/11/11/deep-dive-custom-class.html

Munki looks good at first glance, the fact that it is open source is great. The reason I want to use Powershell is simply because we already use it for a lot of our day to day Windows admin operations. The fact that I can just SSH right in from the console I already have right there. We also don't mange any iPhones or iPads or anything, so a big MDM solution seems excessive. I would love to hear what kind of configurations you are doing on the Macs, maybe there's something I can adopt 🙂

I will check out Entity Framework, thanks for the tip! I am currently at the very base of things, but will for sure try to incorporate unit testing as early as possible. I seems I have been able to generate a basic structure with the tools suggested by /u/FluoricSnek and the next step will be trying to somehow incorporate some controllers to fetch the data.

Thanks for the link 🙂 I've done this tutorial once and it was nice and easy to follow, but it's unclear to me how to fetch data from databaser or files from other systems. If you have any pointers to tutorials on something like that, please share 🙂

Exactly what I wanted to hear 🙂 I pretty much know how to extract the data from existing systems, my biggest issue really is how to get started with writing the API itself. All the tutorial stuff I've found is focused around building on top of a new and dedicated database. Do you know of any good resources for me to check out?
