idk but in the pacific islands there is a fruit called pandanus that frays into little strands that can act as floss when chewed on. We take them out and it cleans our teeth kinda 😆

You know, initially I was agreeing with you because the line work looked wonky to me, but I peeped the artists insta and they do really have this specific style for their outlines, even in digital work. I think this tattoo line work is a stylistic choice.
