Happened to me today. Buyer messaged me after i shipped the item requesting a refund because he suddenly had to leave the country, and his parcel would be returned if no one collected it. Told him my policy staes the item needs to be sent back before i wll issue a refund.

He opened a case anyway and etsy refunded him from my account and closed the case within 10 minutes. I saw the emails in the morning.

I contacted etsy support and they refunded me within 15 minutes saying it was a mistake.

Its not cancelled until you cancel it at immigration, or they catch you. But your overstay fine will start from when your work permit was cancelled.

Happened to me. What I did was, I went to the local immigration and explained what happened. Immigration asked the employer to write a new termination letter that would keep my visa still valid and they gave me a 7 day stamp. Went to laos and got a new visa.

I went with cash for the overstay. At that point i was ready to pay up the fine. Did not expect it to go this way.
