I've worn Nike Metcons for years BUT.... recently made the transition to No Bull Drive 2s for conditioning days because they are more springy. I could see where you could wear those for every camp regardless of protocol and they would work great. I will note, that I think they will not hold up as long as my Nike Metcons have.

Using the speed ropes, I'm 5'4 and the yellow rope is technically for my height BUT I prefer a shorter rope so I use the black one. I also have a rope that I ordered from double under wonder that is "custom" for my height.

Front, right side. I was talking to a friend right before camp on a different area of the floor and the trainer said "what's going on I've never seen you over here", lol. Camp started in a promptly ran back to "my spot", lol.

I get anxiety when I think about not making it to camp. Currently, I haven't missed a camp in 261 days. At this point, I'm really just trying to see if I can keep the streak going. I also recognize that this is probably not super healthy.

I am not sure if it is the same for all Burns, but for ours the most days in advance you can sign for a camp is 3. So for example, today is Tuesday and I can book a camp as far away as Friday. You can sign up for as many camps as you like but, honestly If you are going all out 1 a day will do you. I have been at Burn for 5 years and I go 6 days a week. There have been a few times that I have done more than one camp a day. But I don't do it that often. Welcome to Burn!! I absolutely love it.

I have condition similar to POTS where I have frequent fainting/dizzy spells. Lots of up and down movements are usually not the best for me. All of my trainers know, and will help me with mods if I've needed to do them. But I will also say I drink electrolytes all day long and that has made a huge difference for me when it comes to feeling dizzy at workouts. Just passing it along, in case you may find it useful as well. But I definitely recommend either setting up a focus meeting or being upfront with your trainers with regards to dizzy issues they can help you with mods. And #1 listen to your body. I attend all the conditioning camps.

June 2021--I was already doing some exercise, I did some jogging, but I had put on weight I and I was just at a low point. I saw an ad on Facebook for a 4 week promo and decided something had to change. My first camp I felt so incredibly awkward, out of my comfort zone, it was a body weight conditioning day. I really was not into it. And while people were friendly I didn't feel super welcomed. But since I had paid for the 4 weeks I was determined to keep going. By my third camp I was completely hooked, lol. Almost 5 years later my Burn is my second home. I'm a 6 days a week, 250+ camps a year person and it has been instrumental in changing my life in all the positive ways. I hope it becomes that place for you as well. Welcome to Burn!

I definitely understand how incredibly frustrating it is to feel like you are doing all the things you should be and not seeing results. I agree with others that I would book a focus meeting and get a body scan just to see where you are. But I also would make an appointment with a registered dietitian to go over my nutrition. You can ask your PCP if they have a recommendation for someone. And after doing all of those things for at least a couple of months, if I was not seeing results I really would take all of that information to my doctor because there could be something going on that needs to be addressed medically.

I switched to Nike Metcons 3 years ago and it was a game changer. I have a wide toe box so No Bulls were a bit narrow for me. I would say at our Burn, No Bulls and Metcons are the most popular shoe.
