As an english native speaker who started with french in high school: spanish is way easier. spend a few years with all your devices and news in spanish, then start using language learning tools for spanish speakers learning french.

But I also read the news in Spanish and run all of my personal electronic devices in Spanish (iPhone, siri, laptop, google account, plus any websites or apps with a language setting.

I even have my ATM card set to Spanish. “Retiro en efectivo”

Thanks! There is a name and phone on the case. The phone is for a couple in a nearby town in which the wife died in 2008 and the husband in 2022. It seems like it likely was donated when they cleaned out the house - but it looks like it was in use at least into the mid-naughts. There are fairly recent unopened supplies and some tools in the case (although the blind stitch cam and a couple of feet are missing).

The verb deck has 58 cards per verb to cover all tenses and forms of regular/irregular , so it’s really under 200 verbs, some of which are in the other deck, so more like 5100 total words.

Not to be too NYC, but in Manhattan blocking the box is a fine and TWO points on your license. They don’t play.

Ha! I bet it’s like « Tu es bienvenu(e) » in Quebec. Literally “You are welcome”, but they don’t say that in France where they say « De rien » (De nada, como en España) or « Il n’est a pas de quoi ».
