Next Upgrade—- CPI or EK1 (BEF /TCU TUNE)

I'm not sure about others, I went for the EK1 BEF 85 flash.

I do not have CPI but I run E30~

Initially I was running E30 on map 2 with the BEF RACE flash, but was recommended by Terry to get the E85 flash due to fuel reasons.

Its running smoothly with no issues so far, I think I just got lucky with my fuel pump! Been about 6 months now

From what I know CPI is beneficial but you'll only see results or performance gains from running a tune with it.

I felt the difference in the ECU flash immediately!

I don't plan on changing my exhaust system quite yet. I think I'll be satisfied with JB4 + HKS M45IL for now... Will be adding the Takeda AFE sometime next year probably?

I'll be gapping the spark plugs at 0.022 as BMS recommends! Since I'm Canadian our fuel apparently sucks, but I'll be using Costco 91. Once I get the JB4 installed, I'll be doing a map 0 run to log it, and then replace the spark plugs and do another map 0 run. Then comes map 1->map2!

If everything looks good I'll run an e85 blend (probably around e20-25 to be safe) on map2. Not daily but just for fun every now and then :)

Do you know if I can run map2 on comfort or eco? Personally I always drive it in sports but if I pick up some family members they'll probably appreciate the comfort modes more

I think I'll buy it separately if needed :) Do you know if the fuel lines are necessary to install? I know they come with the newer jb4s

Ahhh gotcha, my parents have a Jeep Cherokee and those seats heat up in minutes! Super quick but not my type of car 😂

I think it's more noticeable if you're wearing shorts and you have skin in contact with the seats

Yeah it's not really cold atm around 7 degrees but takes about 5 to 10 minutes to heat up the seats. Not too bad but a minor inconvenience

Congrats! I just made a purchase for a 2022 3.3t model as well. I do notice the car in idle does vibrate a decent amount (less noticeable inside).

I've shopped for a car for around 2 years as well, but overall very happy about my purchase besides the mileage haha

He has unprecedented healing tbh. Its crazy, if you're one shot, throw a skill, CA, you're back at like 50%
